Michelin in Bali? ⭐️⭐️

Making your own Bread
PARIS
Duration: 5:30 hrs
Hours: 2:15 pm - 7:45 pm

The making of good French bread requires the knowledge and above all the mastery of specific techniques.

The Making your own bread workshop is a rare opportunity to discover the true art of baking. The worshop is given by an experienced Boulangerie Chef in a functional work space and an atmosphere that is both studious and warm. This bread baking course is designed for bakery enthusiasts or simply for those who wish to learn more about the basics of bread-baking and discover the secrets of the great bakers. This workshop is for beginners and amateurs alike.

The session begins with demonstrations of the teachers' know-how. The participants witness the birth of the bread at the hands of the Boulangerie Chef. They then reproduce step by step all the steps of the recipes. At the end of the workshop, each participant will be able to take home the products they have made.

Apron, tea towel and cooler bag “Le Cordon Bleu” are offered. A participation certificate will be given by the Chef at the end of the workshop.

Krakakoa is an interesting company, set up by a couple of ex-McKinsey consultants, one from Singapore one from S Africa iirc
Did they get fired from the Belgian Mail? Big scandal about the ‘Mickeys’ who are working there semi full time constantly coming up with million euro projects…

Pfff. I was able to use the Panasonic bread maker in 40 minutes… :eyebrows:
Found a bakery with all kinds of bread, like in Holland. Di Jalan Tebet Barat, dalam raya no 2

Yes, in Jakarta, Tebet. I had to go to the Kantor Pos and saw this breadshop, next to it. The sopir told me and my wife the area in Tebet is culinair area. So, we checked out this resto SH SD nearby. Colony style interior. Lumayan enak dan murah banget. Check it out.

In ashta mall in scbd there's some decent real bakeries now

Actual real proper artisnal breads are all the rage these days in Jakarta. Bagels. Sourdough. Pretzels. Etc etc

Le Cordon Bleu doesn't have any courses named ibu2 arisan. Why would a french school use any Indonesian language?

Still laughing at this. C'est di hidup
Good idea marketing maybe. Cordon Bleu Ibu2 arisan. Lol
Zut alors

Nephew snpark, Uncle Roger thinks nephew kripik-pisang would get yelled and kicked out in the Netflix show Hunger for talking back and not showing any immagination.

It’s founder, Talita Setyadi is a pastry chef with a culinary degree from the world renowned Le Cordon Bleu culinary school that specialises in French cuisine

Oh wow. Lol. Wouldn't you know it

Well, there IS an online bread store named bule bread. Specializes in sourdough (I believe), scones, muffins, foccaccia (I'm sure I put too many C's there..), lots of different stuff i think majority are sourdough based.

Yes. Made by a bule. Mixed couple. Have met them once during an expat meet up..they brought free samples. Have bought from them a couple sourdoughs and english muffins since then. Friendly couple.

I personally found "Kripik - Pisang", Pisang Goreng (Deep Fried banana), Pisang Eppe (Pressed banana), Fried Casava/yams, Fried Sweet Potato are better than Baguette, Ciabatta, Challah, Brioche, Multigrain bread. etc. I do not see many Indonesians are fancy of eating these sort of Bread.
Similarly Ikan Bakar, Udang / Cumi bakar and other seafood in in Makassar, or around Jimbaran Bay in Bali taste better than Michelin Star Restaurant.

Been there, done that. Made a compliment to the restaurant manager: "croissants and coffee here taste better than in Paris".
