Why though? ChatGPT is not reliable and lacks discernment. E.g,
This should be followed by 'they are wrong'
> The FDA considers it safe for most people when consumed in moderate amounts"
Wrong again. The sentence should end after 'safe'. Not 'for most people'.
There is no evidence MSG is harmful to ANYONE, and sodium can be genuinely harmful, glutamate cannot.
Sometimes you just need people to say that other people are wrong, and ignorant, which is the case when it comes to whining about MSG.
It will depend on the quantity you consume and the body size, e.g weight and heigh. Children will be different with adults. Tall heavy weight adults will be different with relatively small adults.

MSG is not a banned substances by FDA or EFSA or other reputable food, drug agency around the world. Especially if it is consumed in moderation.
If you consume a lot of MSGs, especially on regular intakes, it will effect your health, in the long term. You do not need ChatGPT, professor google or heath experts to know that, as common sense will do. If you don't believe that, depending on your body size, try eating a lot of MSG like one table spoon a day, you will notice how it will effect you in a month. But it is not just MSGs any non natural food, additives, non natural spices and flavouring, taste enhancer, colourants, preservative or the like are the same; it is not good for health if consume in non moderate quantity. I remember I read somewhere, Franchise fast food outlets such as KFC, Popeyes, Chick-fil-A, McDonald's (in new chicken sandwich) also use MSGs. Also well known savoury snacks, chips such as Pringles, Doritos are just a few examples of those that contain MSG. to enhance the savoury and contrasting flavours of chips.
Instant Noodle, noodle soups, meatballs soups, soy / oyster sauce and other non natural food, that are regularly consumed by Indonesian people get enhanced umami taste from MSG. Ask the people who consume a lot of MSG regularly, like eating instant noodle, meat ball soup; depending how much they put in the food people might be experiencing headache, thirsty, drowsiness especially with some sensitive individuals who consume 3 grams or more (depending on body size) of MSG without food. For that reason imo it is dangerous for people who eat too much MSGs like found in many instant noodle regularly. The problem with the side effect like this, you might not notice it in a short term. Like eating processed meat on regular basis which have been discovered might lead to gradually building up cancer cells, It is only when you finally realize it, it is already too late.
But this is just personal opinion for discussion, not an expert opinion, so people will need to seek information themselves and make their own decisions.
