Stop the body shaming!

Couldn‘t they use some of the Spetsnaz from Canggu?

These are among elite special forces around the world and their training programs. Who want to join ??.
Indonesian government will need to send a special force like this to rescue 20 Indonesian Citizen trapped by the human traffickers in Myanmar and obliterate them if Myanmar government can not help. It is also helping to rescue other citizen who are mainly the south east Asian nation citizens. It is a very easy operation compared to what these elite forces have gone thorough. These human traffickers are just a criminal gang, not a well trained paramilitary. It is also just in Myanmar - Thailand border not in the middle of jungle like in Papua. That is the way Indonesian government to show the world that they have teeth and will do whatever is needed to protect their own citizens.

Lionel Messi reportedly will not join the Argentina national team entourage to Indonesia after playing a match in China against Australia.

This news was delivered by Argentinian journalist Leo Paradizo -who is normally quite well informed- in his personal Twitter account. According to him, Lionel Messi only plays against Australia in Beijing, China. He then immediately will fly to the United States to complete his transfer to Inter Miami.

Meanwhile, Lionel Messi has arrived in Beijing using a private jet along with a number of Argentina national team players. He is scheduled to play against Australia on June 15. Four days later, the Argentina national team is scheduled to face the Indonesian national team at the Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), in Senayan, Jakarta.

The rumor that Lionel Messi will not come to Indonesia is some very bad news for local football fans who had been waiting for the star's arrival in Indonesia. You can imagine they feel a bit screwed.

The tickets for the Indonesia vs Argentina national teams are sold out btw. PSSI originally provided 60,000 tickets for the match. It had to do with Erick Thohir‘s promise to provide an alternative for the canceled U-20 World Cup of course.

60,000 tickets. 20,000 sold at 600,000 to over 4 juta each. The remaining went to sponsors.

I will be interested to see how strong of a squad Argentina brings.

Trust jstar to be on top of this stuff.

Undecided, as it is still far away in August. It seems that the Youth and Sport Minister tries to throw the Ball into the Foreign Minister court.

Youth and Sport Minister : God willing, the World Beach Games will not fail, even though Israel has been rejected by the Governor of Bali.
Another recent news
Youth and Sport Minister, Promises to Find a Solution for Israel at the World Beach Games in Bali Highlighted by British Media.
"Dito promised to bridge the communication to find a solution regarding Israel's participation in the World Beach Games. He is also reported to have met with Koster to further discuss the issue of the World Beach Games, and hopes to find a solution in the next two weeks, Dito also added that the final decision rests with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs."

And it looks like they might lose the Beach games after all. https://www.aljazeera.com/sports/20...is-could-see-indonesia-lose-world-beach-games

'Last year, the Indonesian Olympic Committee gave assurances that qualifying athletes from all countries would be accepted at the games. But Bali’s Governor Wayan Koster has now said Israeli athletes are not welcome, citing a preamble to the Indonesian Constitution calling for the universal abolition of colonialism and the country’s immutable support for Palestinian statehood.....“It’s not my attitude, it’s also the government’s attitude,” Koster told reporters after emerging from a high-level government meeting in Jakarta in March....Indonesian news magazine Tempo later reported that former Indonesian President Megawati Sukarnoputri, now chair of the ruling Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle – of which Koster is a representative – ordered him to ban Israeli athletes so the party could score points in the lead-up to next year’s general elections.'

I have a feeling this is going to bite Koster in the ass if Bali loses this.

Quite many fake tickets on the market for the Argentina game. Price 650K.
Some (approx. 6) players of the Indonesian team would be permanent residents or new citizens of Indonesia.

Erick Thohir promised a bonus if the Indonesian team can achieve a draw.

But they did not pull back on time, so the organizer could find another location, they pulled back a month before the event, so they screwed the whole event that is now canceled for the year 2023.

Good job.

The Bali governor better hope his party wins the presidential election or he will be out of a job. He will be a reason why Bali and Indonesia get blacklisted from hosting events.

Sadly Indonesian governors are directly elected I think? But if his party did poorly and he was deemed to be one of the culprits maybe they'll deselect him as their candidate next time.
