From decades ago I have noticed that everywhere in the world , (in general) rich people are not interested in having children but poor people have too many children .... Population increased by about 12 million ... My interpretation of the rueters data is most of that increase was in the vulnerable category ...
Within 150 meters from my house there are 3 small houses to sell and looks like nobody wants to buy . Two others were sold to "rich" people : 1 (sold after some 7 years with 50% discount) was divided in 2 , to rent ; and the other was demolished to build a 2-story building for renting rooms .What is interesting to me is how this has not affected other major markets such as real estate...
It seems rooms for rent are in big demand probably because poor people/families cannot afford to rent a house . Within 150 meters from my house there are already 5 places exclusively with rooms for rent (besides family houses also offering 1 or 2 rooms for rent) .
