In Indonesia there is a BPR/Bank Perkreditan Rakyat/Rural Bank type , usually small banks with no internet banking or ATM card , that are allowed to offer/usually do offer higher interest but still having limited warranty from the Indonesian Government (LPS) like normal banks , just now : maximum interest : 4.25% (normal banks) , 6.75% (BPR) ; maximum of IDR 2 billion per customer per bank (according
https://lps.go.id/faq/) .
"Digital Banks" usually offer better interest rate than normal banks . A high interest one is Bank Seabank (from Shopee's Group) which offers 3.5% for the saving account (daily liquidity) , 5% (1 month) , 5.5% (3 months) and 6% (6 months) - only people with KTP can have account . I am afraid their interests are above the LPS limit .

Are savings products (savings/deposits/current accounts) at SeaBank guaranteed by LPS?
PT. Bank Seabank Indonesia is a participating bank in the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) guarantee and customer savings balances in the Bank are guaranteed based on the provisions of LPS.
Customer savings product balances that exceed the maximum savings value and/or
exceed the interest rate guaranteed by LPS, or do not meet other requirements in accordance with the current LPS Regulations,
are entirely the responsibility of the customer. However, there is no need to worry, SeaBank offers attractive savings and deposit interest rates while still upholding the principles of prudence and security for customers. And we also wholeheartedly maintain the bank's reputation.
