Extended SIX weeks more

This is just a bias. If Trump won the elections, the same US citizens on this forum would be the ones who are vaccine sceptics, underlying deaths from side effects and looking for alternative treatments. You can see how Kamala Harris reacted on the news when the vaccines were announced.
Many of them are saying that Trump is racist, but they themselves are complaining about their Indonesian neighbours "barbarian" religious customs.
Are you assuming I'm a Trump supporter, an anti-vaxxer, and a US citizen? Because if you are, you're going to feel really stupid - on all counts.

August 10 and 17 are public holidays so you can pencil it in to be extended two more times.
This couldn't have come at a worse time. Loyalty aside, my buyers must be so tired of the constant delays. Stretching the truth is becoming part of my job description.

The lockdowns are always implemented or extended throughout the holidays in Indonesia. Seems like the weekly lockdown extentions are just a measured and politically correct act.

So my gym Celebrity Fitness has been contacting and they are trying to get me to sign a longer contract(pay 6 months get 2 free type thing). When I declined as the whole uncertainty of when the lockdowns will start and stop was the reason, the person admitted that was the reaction from majority of the members. I can't even begin to think how the extended lockdown is affection other areas of the economy.

The person I had spoken to also mentioned they are hoping to reopen on August 10th. I didn't have the heart to tell him it will probably be closer to Sept 10th when things reopen.

The lockdown has affected most if not all areas of the live entertainment industry.
I can honestly say that the hubby's band has done barely anything in the way of performing since covid came to town.
It has hit all of the members very hard financially. They are trying to survive on peanuts.
For all of you out there who have kept on working & still have a decent income , please try and do something to support those in your area who have been hit hardest. From donating food parcels to cash everything will be appreciated.

Totally. Music, live events, rental companies are affected the worst. We're the ones that got affected first and unfortunately we're the ones that might recover the last as the government gradually loosen up the rules. I know quite a few have sent their employees home, trying to negotiate payments with vendors, selling assets, and even temporarily switched to a different business (from equipment rental to 'nasi kotak'/catering) just to survive.

No government assistance whatsoever either. Banks still ask to make payments, and laughable reduction in interests.

We have had a big fat zero from the govt.

I have seen nothing on any extension past the 8th. Anyone hear anything? I know Jakarta is saying numbers are starting to go down but being realistic, no way should restrictions end. If they did actual sound reporting if cases and deaths people just may get scared enough to actually follow the restrictions and stay home. I doubt it though.

The raw numbers always go down on Sundays, but the percentage testing positive is over 25%. Hence, the decline represents a reduction in testing rather than a reduction in cases.

Last week they made the announcement on Monday evening. I am guessing they will be doing the same this week.

So everyone gets a free day to go out and infect others. Makes total sense here.
