July 13th-Aug 13th was 4 weeks..so yeah, just about. Glad there were no tequila shots bets on this.

I am now completely lost as to what we can or cannot do officially.
I can say I was in a public space that did generate enough of a crowd to affect traffic on a main thoroughfare on Sat night.
I actually was expecting it to be a small group of people doing an online live streaming thingy...
far from it deffo well over 100 people there. I stayed outside until the beer had flowed enough for the Bule lovers to lose inhibitions & start grabbing me for selfies & the like. After that I buggered off & sat in the car waiting for t'other half to escape.
It was quite intimidating for an old bat such as me, I did feel glad of the vaccine & am now monitoring every cough & sniffle just in case they made me sick.
* before you all swoop in on me I was there well before any crowds. They seemed to come out of nowhere.
I have to say that I thought I was quite a well balanced soul but even someone wanting to take my hand in greeting & horror of horrors get in my 'airspace' made me feel violated - oh how we have changed in the past 20 months.

Not easy to find a crowded pub here, but I do shake hand with friends and do the typical cheek kiss with the very few female (French) friends that I know.

The few family members of the Miss who drop by at home all do the handshake and hand on the heart.
But I don't do selfies !

Anybody who want to do the rapper (closed fist) salute, or the elbow dance can bugger off, to put it politely.

I actually feel kinda cool when I do those... a sort of "bro-mance" feeling. I always felt silly doing fist bumps before, but maybe it is that my generation has now passed out of the "cool zone" completely... It's just fun to do what the hip young kids are doing... How is it that I am old and you are not? Have you transcended?
