Now here’s a funny thing, I had an SMS from XL it said I had 100,000rp credited to my card, sure enough when I checked there was the money, totally unsoliced by me, the senders address 021-4444

Well as you read earlier, I did mine in March, got sms confirmation all registered, mine is working still I think (I mean who calls or texts these days anyway) but everything works maybe because of wifi etc (w/a, ig, fb, etc) but when I did *888# last night to check my pulsa, it said I was blocked and not yet registered, even though I did it personally in the Tsel store with passport AND got the text to confirm

Then I saw on local news a big thing about it all, not sure if it was about everyone complaining they already registered and blocked or what?

Since all my important stuff works from wifi, I don't know whats on or off, no one ever texts me or calls anyway these days directly. So maybe after weekend will traipse back to Tsel to ask wtf is happening? How can I be blocked when in March I already registered and got confirmation?

my simpati is still working. i was never asked to register when registrasi ulang exercise started. however, i did show up with my passport at a grapari in malang 3 years ago to exchange my card to 4g card. i guess either that was sufficient or they simply missed me.

I cannot receive sms from the bank for the security codes when transferring money.... kinda annoying.

but yet you can still get the stupid texts about cfc special promo or dunkin donuts offer every time you walk near a mall

After registering I now receive at least 1 sms every day telling me I will be blocked for not registering....

I finally registered. Went into Grapari/Telkomsel with my passport and KITAS. No issues, though I didn't receive any kuota bonus.. Maybe that ship has sailed. I just now checked with *363# and *888# (I forget which one was nagging me before) and there's no prompt anymore. I didn't have any issues getting blocked or anything prior to this, so I guess I'm lucky.
