new podcast: Indonesia's Defence Dilemma

Who are you calling a murderer? How can you say that about someone following the orders of their nation? That is the same as calling all the uniformed men and women of the armed forces murderers. How dare you call those that are willing to give their lives for their nation murderers? That is as low as one can go. You should be ashamed.
I don't agree that serving your nation, and going out and conquering lands, and sometimes killing innocent people, should be Honored! just because they joined the military! To so call serve their nation! Is no excuse for killing innocent people!

Have you served in uniform?

Personally I don't really care about a debate, even if it doesn't seem that way haha. The frontlines seem to be clear anyway. Sometimes I just get triggered as I said before, when it seems like people want to throw things like CIA involvements or the influence of the USA in one pot with stupid BS like flat earth and lizard people who disguise as our world leaders hahaha. I mean yeah, I don't know who it does good to to not acknowledge stuff that has been proven since forever. Only because the western world doesn't have an interest in repeating these facts as often as they repeat that China and Russia are the worst in the universe. But sure, JFK was killed by the magic bullet, the CIA is only there to protect the whole world and all US wars were gods will to bring democracy all over the world and to replace Talibans with Talibans. Anyways...i don't want a debate.
🤣🤣
Well you've really got to admit that replacing the Taliban with the Taliban was no mean feat, especially given it was done over twenty years at a cost of two trillion dollars, around 170,000 deaths, countless wounded, thousands of allies abandoned, and untold ill will created by habitually drone striking wedding parties, etc. I'd say, and certainly hope, that it's one of the greatest follies of all time.

US / CIA involvement in overthrowing governments, rigging elections, invading countries

To make it easier go directly to the 1945 / 1991 period...
And then 1991 till now.

US is the worst bully on earth.
The US is the worst bully because they can be. The competition's not what it once was. Pre-WWII Britain and France were top bullies, then Japan and Germany had thankfully brief runs at extreme bullying. Post war Russia played for a while but fell off. Now PRC's up and coming in the field.

PRC invaded how many countries in the last 50 years, compared with the US ?

China, Russia, Iran have history and culture going back thousands of years...

US has ZERO culture.... dont forget the US ancestors were Europeans colonialist !

China: South China Sea, Tibet, Korea, Burma, India, Vietnam (twice).

Russia has always defending itself and conquered half Europe that way - looking for "strategic depth". Colonized Asia (from Ural mountains to Siberia) until China and Mongolia and now is bordering with Japan.

Thank you for your post. Will the CIA be acceptable?

Given you have the information I alluded to directly from the CIA, perhaps you would be kind enough to remove the 'dislike'.
Different times and quite long time ago, during the cold war.

In Wikileaks we can see that Indonesia is pretty irrelevant these days for the CIA and rarely mentioned . Ascencion of China could change this though, and need for buffer states in the region (Indonesia is on of the last neutral bufffer states remaining in the world).

I said "compared with the US" !

I think North American Indians and Innuit people would be quite offended by this remark. Their respective cultures have been in existence for somewhere between 11,000 and 30,000 years for the North American Indians and about 8,000 years for the Innuit peoples. I daresay there are not a lot of North American Indians or Innuit who subscribe to Balipod so probably none offended at this moment.

Iam pretty sure Balifrog is aware of the existence of the Indians and what he says applies more to America as we know it today, which is not really built on Indian culture.

The US has culture, but different cultures and not just one a homogeneous one. It's kind of like Indonesia that way.

Well, that's a braze statement considering your ancestors killed half of them and put the other half in concentration camps...
Not to speak about the second class citizens status they have now ....

Actually as an Australian I have not had a direct role in damage done to American Indians and Innuit peoples. But as an Australian acknowledge that Australia has a shameful history in its treatment of indigenous peoples. I have played a small activist part in processes that are slowly bringing about change. And for that reason tend to react to statements that are dismissive of indigenous cultures... such as ....America has zero culture. Indigenous American aside, however low you might esteem Americans for a lack of culture this same country has a long history of producing great cultural contributors across the whole spectrum of the arts.
