new podcast: Indonesia's Defence Dilemma

Second cup of tea spilled....
Don't you realize that France, England, Germany, China, Japan, Korea all have a cultural history going back 100's if not 1000's of years ?
And those cultures and mixtures of them are present in the US, and Canada, and.....

They were CIA sites.
It makes no difference who posts them, you said you didn't trust the links.
Can we now agree, the CIA did as I claimed - The CIA says it's fact, so perhaps you can rethink your opinion.
Sure it matters. You will need to show me where I said I didn't trust the CIA. My opinion is staying. I don't trust the poster in a forum. Maybe your one to open attachments in an email titled, see your mother naked, but, I am not.

Busy folks.

I was calling out @fastpitch17 for being an American apologist.
Yeah, maybe so but I like to think of it as a supporter of the most powerful nation on Earth and beyond at this time. A nation that offers it's inhabitants greater freedoms than most of the nations offer theirs. At least for now.

I generally find people who resort to personal attacks in place of well thought out arguments are wrong. I'll skip the grammar save to suggest it shows you didn't pay attention in school, thus are even more likely to be wrong.

They just tried to dump Prabowo on favour of their pet candidate. I gather, looking at how much the NED (CIA cover) has penetrated Indonesia, they still want him out.

One came up about air con units being scarce due to government regulations - That was an out and out lie. Only three outlets printed that story whilst the rest gave it the attention it deserved - None because it was a lie.
The truth is the industry was opposed to the regulations and suggested they might cause supply difficulties - Not there were shortages.
You are correct. Aircons shortage were not because of Indonesian government incompetence. 26.000 were containers stuck in main Indonesian ports, including explosives for government companies.

Walk to the nearest supermarket, onions are up to 5USD/kilo and potatoes up to 3 USD/kilo , must have been because of the Jews and US destabilizing this great country.

Pray the US is still strong otherwise you will eat all dishes with chopsticks. And FYI NED.,IRI and others are active in most part of the world. US candidate won anyway (the CIA-trained one).

US candidate won anyway (the CIA-trained one).
I looked at the various US groups that have infiltrated Indonesia.
One candidate had no hits
One had 2 hits
One had a hit with almost every activity he was part of.

It wasn't Prabowo. However, he was trained in the US as you say. That's likely part of the reason they don't want him in.

'Prabowo is very pro-American. He went to American high school, American grade school. I mean, you know, he's been going to American school all his life. He went to Special Forces, he was in Fort Benning, Fort Bragg. You know, I'm pro-American. Until recently I was an investor in California, in a big way, in the oil business."

Hashim promised that if Prabowo becomes president of Indonesia: "Yes, the US will be a privileged partner with a GERINDRA".

Prabowo said to me with rising anger that his fellow Indonesian officers used to mock him, calling him "The American officer" because he was so close to the United States.

He said that they made fun of him -- and implied he was unmanly -- because his English was so good and he spent so much time with the foreigners.

Prabowo told me he was "Very good friends with DIA (the US Defense Intelligence Agency) back to George Benson."

Benson spent decades going in and out of Indonesia for US intelligence.

Sorry for you thinking you are some kind of special. You are far from it. I don't trust anyone I don't know. Oh, and if I were stupid or an idiot I would probably call you a friend.

I hope I paid enough attention when we studded Muhammad ibn Musa Al-Khwarizmi's work.

In the news:

A Philippine ship collided with a Chinese boat near the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea today.

According to the Chinese coast guard, the Philippine supply ship ignored the Chinese ship's warnings. “The Philippine ship deliberately approached the Chinese ship in an unprofessional manner, resulting in a collision," the Chinese coast guard’s statement read. Not only that, the country claims the Philippine ship illegally entered waters near one of the disputed Spratly Islands. “The Coast Guard has taken control measures against the Philippine vessel in accordance with the law.”

Manila has accused the Chinese coast guard of “barbaric and inhuman behavior” against Philippine ships. Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos has called the new rules a "very worrisome" escalation.

China claims almost the entire South China Sea, although the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague rejected this claim in 2016.

This is not the first time ..

Luckily the air defense of Indonesia is not a dilemma.

At least not in Bali where the concept of barrage balloons which were used in both World Wars, is implemented via …, kites
