US Presidential Election - What's your take?

(Sorry about the weird formatting above. The system is rigged against me.)

Six months or a year ago, I would have believed this. However, Trump has revealed such an appalling level of narcissism that I now believe he might be becoming truly unhinged. Mental health professionals say that when narcissists find themselves in a state of failure so profound that even their distorted world view can't compensate by spinning it as success/everyone else's fault, they may go into total meltdown mode. If that is what happens with Trump, he may not be coherent enough to use his business skills (such as they are) rationally.

Here's a link I found through a quick Google search (scroll down to get to the text) - I don't recommend clicking on any of the links in it, they seem to be mostly promoting the book this guy has written. I am not saying it's the best description of a narcissistic meltdown, it's just the first one I came across. But can't you see Trump falling into the behaviors it describes?
Trump has been in this cycle for some time beginning with the Primaries where every single person who mentioned his name in the slightest negativity became a target of his wrath. Right from the beginning he insisted that if you were not with him and agreed with him, you were the devil out to sabotage his candidacy. It has only gotten worse from there.

Here is a man who only allowed his successes out in the open and did a good job with covering up his failures or spinning them into something else. Now, his persona is all in the public spotlight, nothing can be hid and much of what was hid previously is now being exposed. He is fighting hard to keep his tax returns hidden as long as possible because he knows that they would probably be the final embarrassment and end his winning ideals. I could see him telling his people, "go ahead, release them, nothing can hurt me." His people going, "no, no,no."

He can't handle losing in front of anyone. His face would be dirty. This is unacceptable to his thinking so to him, he can't lose but because of some outside force, someone else can win. It will never be because of anything he did or can do. He is a danger and of all around him, I think his kids know that. I see them as ready to take over the operation of his businesses in the near future. That doesn't mean he goes away, just the opposite. He just may use his time then to rally his troops because, he was robbed and they know it and it will be, "Take Back America" hats selling next. (made in Asia)

Oh, a side note. "Make America Great Again" was licenced by Trump so all those hats and shirts and diapers that are sold, he gets a piece. This whole thing was just a make Trump richer again to begin with.

What worries me is still the 40% of Americans who support him today, even after all the nasty things Trump said and do.

Despite saying he disagreed with Trump on many occasions, Ryan still refuses to withdraw his endorsement. This is the time to stand and be counted, I will forever hold it against Ryan.

Ryan just like so many other Republicans have little choice then to endorse the Republican candidate for President. If they came out and said they don't endorse him then it will be turned into they support the democratic candidate. I think it is general knowledge that while they are listed as endorsing, they were pretty clear they would not support him. Right now, they are worried more about what Trump is doing to their careers. Ryan like others are stuck between a rock and a hard place. They have to endorse the GOP but that's it.

I've noticed many use very careful wording to avoid even using Trump's name. "I endorse the Republican nominee." It's clearly a very tense and awkward situation for many. Kasich seems to be the most significant non-endorser (of those that still have a political future, ie not the Bush clan), and I think it will only help his image in a 2020 bid.

Loyalty vs integrity, an eternal problem. If Kasich, McCain, and many others can do it, so can Ryan.

Ryan will still need the GOP in 2020. He has to be very careful.
Which means his condemnations toward Trump are empty words, he still thinks the GOP as it currently stands --bigots and misogynists included-- is tolerable.

No more then all the backing the Democratic Party gets after all those emails were released showing their unsavory practices and beliefs.

Time for the debate. It may be fun to see how Trump starts out and how long it will take him to go off course and embarrass himself more. This debate should be a complete embarrassment to if it turns out like it is being predicted to be. Ugly.

Final debate starting now! Youtube live stream for those are interested:

I'm 100% certain that if Repubs get their emails hacked we will see at least equally shady dealings, it's the nature of politics. Mark Twain said "People who love sausage and respect the law should never watch either one being made". What's not normal is for a U.S. presidential candidate in the 21st century to be openly bigoted, xenophobic, and misogynistic. There's no comparison.

The debate is underway and living up to expectations -- decisive and mean spirited in the extreme.

.
Accepting the election outcome? "I will leave you in suspense."

Amazing.

If? Wikileaks already said they have information on the GOP but have not released it and at this time have no plans to. So, right now they can sit back and bask in the Dems misfortunes but knowing they could be next lingering on the sidelines.

OK, the debate wasn't as ugly as the media thought it was going to be. Of course, I'm sure they will take sides and make their own judgments on that.
Hillary stayed in her normal well trained composure space
Donald was probably more composed this debate then the previous two.

I did notice that when Donald snipped in, not true, that's a lie, no way, and a few other 2 and three word interruption he would give a little eye glance to his right. I think that perhaps he had a little coaching sitting there reminding him to be careful.

Chris Wallace did a pretty decent job I think. He seemed to control them pretty will but for a couple instances of the candidates talking at the same time but Chris's insistence seemed to stop them both. Of course, he works for Fox so they will praise him and others may not. Me, I think he did well.

No one seemed to say anything new in regards to issues facing America. One thing for certain, they seem to be far apart from one an other. One couldn't help but think that they are both lost on the issues and how to fix them and perhaps, if they actually could combine some of their fixes you just might have something workable.

The most damaging thing I could see that will not sit well with undecided and independent voters that are sitting on the fence is that Trump refuses to follow a tradition of accepting who won by the one that didn't. This fits in with those that want trouble if Trump loses. His VP and his family members have all said that he would accept the outcome of the election but he won't say that. That is not a good thing.

The outcome. Those already for Trump will stay there. Those already for Hillary will stay there. The undecided and independents on the fence will have some fall off to Hillary's side. Probably some that will just stay there and ask what's the sense of even getting involved? Neither one is going to help American.
This debate: Hillary 53, Trump 47

Trumpery. This is funny. How did they know?

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/trumpery

Trumpery derives from the Middle English trompery and ultimately from the Middle French tromper, meaning "to deceive." (You can see the meaning of this root reflected in the French phrase trompe-l'oeil-literally, "deceives the eye"-which in English refers to a style of painting with photographically realistic detail.) Trumpery first appeared in English in the mid-15th century with the meanings "deceit or fraud" (a sense that is now obsolete) and "worthless nonsense." Less than 100 years later, it was being applied to material objects of little or no value. The verb phrase trump up means "to concoct with the intent to deceive," but there is most likely no etymological connection between this phrase and trumpery.

Mirriam Webster is rigged and in bed with Crooked Hillary. Sad!

To some, or one. She probably wrote it herself mid 15th century. I think it is all part of the word conspiracy against the Trumpster. (I had to go and check out Trumpster. Nope, not a real word.)

Assange clearly favors Trump over Clinton. So much for being an impartial guy fighting against all government corruption.
