KITAS Renewal

So I saw the news that the Immigration will automatically give an emergency stay permit to foreigners in Indonesia whatever their type of visa is. My problem tho is my KITAS (family union) is expiring on July and I’m giving birth on June. I want to renew my KITAS now because once I give birth by June, i cannot go anywhere by July (assuming emergency stay permit will expire by this month or earlier) because i have a newborn baby by then. Do you guys think the immigration will let me proceed if I renew my KITAS this month?

You can apply for extension 3 months prior to the expire date.

My understanding is they are not taking any renewals right now. Everything that expires is automatically given emergency stay permit.
