But that would surely take the thread off topic?
Stay where you can afford I guess. If you're a 40 year old professional expat living in Asia but $100 a night for a 5* hotel is too expensive, then by all means stay in a $30 a night one instead.
Each to their own. Like choice of vaccines. Take the Chinese one now or wait and get the European one later
And I guess if you happen to be a multi-billionaire you can buy your own hotel and have the most lux suite plus the run of the rest, and buy your own island to build the hotel on, Or just buy a rocket and shoot yourself to the moon.
I am a 56 year old confessional human being, not a forty year old professional expat. I try to set my standards more by that standard (human). Which is not to say that I prefer to live in a slum. Most people do not prefer that, including the millions of people who do live in them.
As for vaccines millions of people in my country refuse to walk through a door to get one while a few billion who would eagerly take it cannot get it. This vexes me to the point that I feel absolutely no sympathy whatsoever for the refuseniks when they get the full virus with no defense, the suffering and death they cause for themselves and others.
Now back to the original topic, please.
