Restaurants and accommodations are required to have separate bins, but the guys who collect the rubbish just have a small truck with no separation, so both bins are emtied into that single space. However when it reaches the dump, all rubbish, no matter whether from dual bins or single bins will have the valuable stuff like plastic bottles and aluminium cans separated out so it can be sold. I think they also do some composting of organic waste.
