That Ciwalk looks great too! The only semi-outdoor mall I can think of is that La Piazza Kelapa Gading and even that place is long gone. Maybe it had its days when I wasn't in Indonesia. I've only managed to enjoy it a few times when they had different festivals (wine 'n cheese, Jakarta classic dish fair, etc), downside to those festivals, they're always packed with people and super duper hot with tens of vendors cooking food at the same time.

PVJ and Ciealk are a 10-15 minute walk away from each other, as well, so you could always check them both out... if you really like malls... Nevermind. (Who would voluntarily go to two new malls in one day? )

I used to live more or less in between them and we would choose one based on what movie was in the cinema (or because the wife wanted to actually go shopping ). Last I was there (at least a year), PVJ had more of the family entertainment type stuff (ice skating, trampoline park, petting/feeding zoo, Halloween corn maze), while Ciwalk was more standard shop/watch/eat. Ciwalk had/has an escape room and had an art gallery at one point.

Hahaa I actually adapt to where I live....besides wife is not an outdoor person....doesn't like going to the beach (like many indonesian women "takut hitam")....she likes the mountains...but usually likes the hotels and restaurants only....hiking? "Keringatan...kotor".

When I used to live in PDX I actually went to the mall way less...(okay...it was more bars and winery but that's different..).

She does like the movies....although her #1 favorite genre (horror) and mine (action) are definitely different...

How long does the Pedulilindungi app take to update?

I had my second jab a week ago. I can go to the Pedulilindungi website and download my certificates, but the app is still saying it's not ready.

Worth contacting them or sabar aja?

Mine was like that...just click back out and go back in...wait for a couple minutes, sometimes it loads up. If you feel adventurous, uninstall then reinstall. Sometimes it works.

Yes, tried all that. Ho hum, guess I'll give customer service a whirl.

Edit: Tried emailing the "contact us" address on the app and it bounced back undeliverable because their mailbox was over quota. Looks like I'll just wait it out...

Not surprised...I checked the facebook page and it was full of complaints that they are unreachable. I mean...maybe it's too hard for them to MAYBE update their page saying that they're aware of the problems, and currently updating their system, bla bla bla. Communication isn't their strongest point I guess...

Well, yesterday i checked my apps and it had the 'perbaharui?' (Update?) I was inside the mall when that happened so I didn't want to update and suddenly something screwy happens....so I waited for a bit...but after I pressed update it went smoothly.

Worked for me for a few days but not working again today. First wouldn't work because it required and update and then after updated it had me sign in again with all the information (NIK, DOB, Name and 6 digit SMS code) and still complains that it can't find my NIK. Don't really know what else to do at this point. It worked for a little while but now back to 0.
