Downloaded Penduli-indungi app today after I changed Google Play location. Entered name and phone, it found me. Entered NIK, took 2 minutes and certificates are there. All good I guess. Our location even though we are in the level 4, is not requireing it to be shown anywhere yet. Of course, our malls are still closed. In case I need it, I have it now.

I found my NIK on my SKTT.

Also a 9 digit NIK on your NPWP but that's actually your passport number

Just an observation I have seen from the three times I have gone to the mall. I was wondering if anyone else have seen this.

Before the app, security would be sitting around and say scan your hand/head to get your temperature. Now, they are more concerned that people are using the app correctly(entering and exiting) and are ignoring temperature readings.

They've been doing that temperature thing just out of formality vs necessity anyway...I mean, the number could be showing incorrect number (like 33 celcius) and they'll let you in....

Update: Tried Artha Gading today, got my location on and apps ready to go as I walked from my car to the entry door. Scanning the QR code (posted on the door) was smooth, took mere seconds for the confirmation 'berhasil/success' to appear. Closed it too quickly when the 2nd security asked to see it, I just said I already scanned it outside, she let me go...note to self, make sure to show to the security before closing app.

Also had to scan again on the way out. I'd say as more people are getting used to scanning (and preparing their phones before they're at the front of the door), the lines should be shorter. I probably only had about 4-5 people cueing (more like crowding) in front of a qr code.

All these people going on about private info when the government literally already give you a number to recognise you. And your cell phone already tells everyone in the world where you are.

Exactly - if you have BPJS (which most of us on work-sponsored KITAS and many locals have) that data is all out on the dark web already. Google/ Apple have everything on you if you have a phone. So does your network provider.

I signed up to my local polsek a little while ago to get my vaccine. They asked me to send all my data to a Whatsapp number: name, address, NIK, email, phone, etc. The whole lot.

A week or so later, they add everyone over 150 people in one Whatsapp group to coordinate only to share an excel file with the complete data of everyone. Lovely.

I didn't even end up getting my vaccines from there
