Extended SIX weeks more

So here's a dilemma. The new rules only allowed those who are vaccinated to enter malls and supermarkets and pharmacies etc. So what about those of us here legally with KITAS who have been unable to get vaccinated yet because of the age restrictions and supply. Although I prefer to wait for Pfizer or Moderna I have tried to register for Sino but every time it rejects me for being too young or even won't accept my NIK. So what am I supposed to do? Starve to death? With long hair and ugly nails and unable to even go to a pharmacy? And let's not also forget the thousands in Bali and Jakarta on Sosbud 211 visa. They don't even have a KITAS so how would they supposed to get vaccinated to leave the country? Or are bule exempt from this rule?

Sit back at the beach, have a beer and relax.

No need to stress, specially if you are "young" as you claim.

At my age I don't give a s..., if I.was 10 y younger I would be on the dancefloor every night.
Stress ? What's that ?

It seems to be a common problem for the NIK to not be in the system for foreigners. I've heard of multiple cases, me included. You will have to persuade whoever does your vaccination to enter you into the system manually. Sinovac is readily available and in some cases you can find AZ but the others are just talk at this point and who knows when or if they will be available here.

If I am asked to show proof of having the vaccine, I will be requesting the same from the person asking me.

All good points
Ironic this is an extension of existing and no body asked me previously.
Perhaps they might settle for negative test

Anyway I was told 6 weeks lockdown from mid July so I assume 23 August will be back to "normal"
I will get my money"s worth on my hair cut and manicure
Yes sadly I'm still only 48 underneath my beard and mask
2 bdays in quarantine now lol
Happy to wait for Pfizer or moderna I think rather than the Sino ones or even Astra.

I have not seen the exemption in the government Satgas announcements, but it is available on some airline websites, from Garuda:

you don't get to enter.
no... not heard of online shopping?

@snpark tbf, I had ventured to guess based on some of the earlier posts, the extended week was part of the process for the 6 more weeks you originally posted about. Now it is more, where is the official announcement of it being extended to confirm.

Someone from rugby shared this in a group:

Basically a mall in Surabaya, Tunjungan Plaza -requires you to show an antigen test for people who got covid before. If you're WNA, got covid or not, always to have antigen result before entering and Surabaya has worse compliance level than here when it comes to applying health protocols.

Then someone else shared this bit: Mass irrelevant information and misinformation all around. It's tough to challenge the system amongst all the fear.

I believe they are saying Java is August 15 and every other area under PPKM is August 23. Don't forget, if you are vaccinated, you can go into a mall in level 3 areas. Just make sure you are not 70 or over. Then you can not.

I got the vaccine in the US. Do I need to enter my info in the PeduliLibungi app or is that just for local vaccines? Would I just show them a pic of my US vaccine card to enter a mall?

Also, where do I find my NIK? I thought that was only on a KTP. Usually when I'm asked for NIK I just give my passport number or SIM.

I suggest you get married to a local, then get a kartu keluarga which will give you a NIK and you'll be able to get a vaccine. You might even enjoy it.

I have a NIK. It's on my STKK. I have a kitas. I already do online shopping. I'm just making a point not to be attacked by everyone.

Last night it was announced as an extension of continuing same.
Last week I was allowed into the mall to go to the supermarket and pharmacy.

Now they open the mall but you need to be vaccinated.
So it's a step forward and a step back.

And yes it is official. Just seems a bit silly to have allowed it last week but not this week and then to call it an extension when in fact it's a tightening.

Anyway for me personally I honestly don't care. I can work from home and wait until 23rd to get my hair cut

I posted to point out the silliness. Not to get attacked.

I wasn't attacking you, I was responding to you in the tone you very frequently use with others- blunt & to the point.
& yes it is a silly regulation & yes it is a step forwards & a step backwards.

According to the mall @ChrisTex posted above, even with your US vaccination you need a negative antigen test within 1 day of entering the mall. Also, if you're under 12 or over 70 you can't come in at all, even if you're triple-vaccinated and wearing a hazmat suit.

I have not seen this in government regulations, so it may simply be a rule of that one mall.

Your NIK is found on your SKTT if you're on KITAS or KTP-OA if you're on KITAP. If you do not have KITAS or KITAP your passport number is generally the best to use, but is not a NIK.
