And sorry if this comes across as wrong, but what are you actually "selling" - the staff? The "name" of the company, its reputation, database, client base etc?

What's to stop the staff all resigning the minute I take over, and they take all the clients with them. What am I left with?

Just curious what a consulting company can actually have for sale, unless there is a physical property / office etc included in the sale?
