    My son is getting a goat sacraficied in his name for the kampung. He wont be watching it. Maybe the piss poor attitude to animals is because of the spectacle of an animal thrashing around gushing blood desensitises the ppl? Yep the whole place smells of blood.

    Why is there no middle ground for used cars? Seems to be new, under 5ish yr old for not much less than new then it seems to drop to old bangers. Or is it just in Jawa Timur?

    To many higher ups have a finger in one or more pies revolving around booze. My guess is there will be a token law, like the mini mart one, that will fade into obscurity to satisfy the whingers. Love to know who actually owns/has a finger in the brewery near Surubaya.

    Im in and of Bwi. Sedikit bahasa dan basa jawa. Kepala kampung tried to educate the kampung and set up an area for rubbish and communal burning etc. Dismal failure. Beach in front of kampung is moderately rubbish strewn. This is Solong/Klatak. How is the program going to alter lifetime habits...

    Not noticed any increase in touris in Bwi. Usual bus loads that get dropped at Hardies and tricycled into kota and back. Few backpackers as usual. Pantai Boom is getting done up and there is a few new hotels in last few years. Dinas moved in Kantor Touris thingy n lot has been spent on WIFI...
