Any good and of course legal advice?

Thank you very much for your inputs. Yes I also think it is hard to get the employee to pay for breaking a contract, but maybe such clause will make them think twice before they just leave.

Any good and of course legal advice?

We are about to hire a couple of new people. At least of one the positions requires training and also training abroad at the mother company. This is an investment, and quite expensive. I have now been going through more than 100 CV's for one position, and the picture clearly shows that a...

KPPA or Representative Office without an agent

Kiperto, I have just been establishing a KP3A in January 2017, and will be happy to share my experience. I also know agents who can assist for much less than the price you mention.

    Where to kiss?

It is not so much about what the public finds appropriate, but more a question about if such a law actually has existed or even still does. I read about many of all the other "inappropriate" and also illegal things.. but could not find where it mentions "kissing in public" and its consequence of...

    Where to kiss?

I made a bet yesterday, and hopefully you can help me out. I know there years ago were writings about Indonesia banning kissing in public. This ban should be just one out of several in an "anti pornographic" law. Can anybody confirm if it actually got that far, and became part of the law, and...

Centurion, it seems like you have good knowledge about the activity level in the immigration. Do you know how long the processing time is for the time being for applicant to get the Vitas telex (for company sponsored kitas/imta) Appreciating any input

    Kitas - changing employer

Thanks Atlantis.. Correct me if I am wring, but it is my impression that when VITAS is issued, one is 98% sure that it will turn into a Kitas. Is it not obtaining the VITAS that takes the longest in the complete process?

Use of immigration agents in Indonesia abolished

I think it is amazing that the immigration cannot make the process easy to understand, so that everybody can fill in the required documents in the right way at the right time in the process. That should be possible to do for a few bright students to make a step by step explanation within a few...

There is more news on this subject in today's Jakarta Post front page....but it doesn't make the new rules any more enlightening. Davita, i tried to look for the article you refer to, but cannot find.. can you add a link to the article? Please

Types of Companies in Indonesia of Interest to Expats

Does anybody in here have experience with opening a representative without using an agent/consultant? As this is something a foreign company is doing, I would presume, and hope that it can be done without local help.. like the procedure is clean, and documents in English.. I believe lots of...

Use of immigration agents in Indonesia abolished

Here is a bit more about this http://indonesiaexpat.biz/featured/rules-change-for-agents-visa-kitas/ I am interested in knowing how a "bule" working abroad will be able to attend all these up to 7 meetings before he gets his kitas... that i presume will require a lot of holiday, more trips...

    PMA Office

I have no idea how high a high rise bulding is... but as far as I understood you cannot get registered in a ruko located somewhere in the kampung.. nor have a representative office in Gading Serpong if you wish so.. A general Representative Office (KKPA) has to be located in the capital city of...

    PMA Office

I doubt this is the case that you need to buy your own, however it seems you need to live up to requirements to your "office address". Same goes for representative offices, the latest I read is that it must be located in an "high rise office building" - virtual office is not accepted, as far as...

    Financing - Factoring

I guess it is not that hard to get a loan, if the company had traditional collateral, but the collateral it has is the contract, and it needs financing to execute the order. So other places I know of have financing companies, who also finance the seller in those situations, but I am not aware of...
