I have just been reading through this- it is really quite interesting :

While we are understandably preoccupied with Covid statistics and the roll out of vaccines the worldwide economic dislocation has and will continue to be enormous. Personally I have grave doubts that the health issues will settle down even by the end of 2021 but the impact on every other fabric of our lives will have an unsettling influence for many years to come.

A bit like coming up for a breath after the tsunami and getting a glimpse of the wreckage and devastation in its wake. Good luck to all of you with whatever your occupation and income source. Uncertain times ahead but to be alive and healthy is perhaps the most important reality.

I was then interested in some modest speculation but could never find what looked like a trustsworthy site to use as a dealer. It seems the road to Bitcoin wealth is studded with markers by people who have been scammed. Some investing seriously with apparent profit only to find their access website suddenly disappeared.

There have always been, and there will always be a few people reacting badly to vaccines, anti biotics or other medication...
Same as some people are allergic to seafood or fish....
But I'll trust the mass media to make a big story out of this.
Let's wait a year or two to see a statiscally representative return.
Which by the way is the normal way those things are done.......
No vaccine destinated for a worldwide massive vaccination campaign has ever been "certified" in 6 months.
Anyway, I am watching this from the fence with no intention to step forward.

Every problem I have read about with the vaccines is in people with a history of allergic reactions, the type of people that carry an Epipen. People should be asked before receiving the vaccine if they have such a history, if so they should be cautioned of the increased risk and given a choice to proceed or not, and monitored more closely if they choose to proceed with the vaccine.

I'm allergic to MSG, don't know if that counts.

Actually I think most mainstream media will suppress any negative news about the vaccine, that's why I thought of sharing it here because it's "rare" news.

As for me, I will only take inactivated vaccine because I believe it is safer (not necessarily more effective) than mRNA vaccine.

Just a heads up for anyone who will be entering Indonesia via Jakarta. This was passed onto me from someone who entered the country recently:

Mainly because of all the reports of the cheaper hotels having had a lot of covid cases and a bunch of scams doing the rounds.

Easiest is to speak to the army guy and they will refer you to someone. This is at the airport after customs where they bombard you with prices and you get to choose.

Not a professional setup so don't expect tables and booking machines. Usually a woman asking do you have a hotel already. Again a lot of scams doing the rounds so only pay at the hotel. Also try to keep to the hotels on the lists that have been posted on the Facebook groups.

They are still releasing the numbers every day - I follow nuice media on twitter to get them daily. No idea about the health ministry website tho!
