World's Oldest Man Ever in Sragen?

Going back to the guy who now appears to be 146 years old, here's a photo of him with a cigarette in his hand

Let's see; if he has great great grandchildren which are babies, you could assume 145-25-25-25-25 as the average age when he 'started' and was 25 himself. That's a discrepancy of only 20 years on average, it would put him between 100 and 145 years old (for 20-30 years old for every generation to start a family).

Perhaps carbon dating should be tried?

I think his furniture looks to be about the same age.

The age is true - although I can see why it's hard to believe. I'm pretty close to both his parents and they've confirmed his age.

Well I expect he has interesting tales to tell, my father in law was 100 this month, he is very interesting to talk too, and enjoys a beer and a chat, several men in his Kampung were rounded up in Suhartos time, only him and one other came back, that he doesn't talk about, anyway sadly he didn't get a telegram from the Queen

145 years he has been putting off doing the cladding on the front of the house - Hail the King of "Yeah ill get round to it next weekend love"

I've just noticed he has a cigarette in his hand, well that cannot be bad then can it

Quite often if I asked someone has far it was to the next village or town they would reply that it was 3 cigarettes or 2 cigarettes so they measured how long it would take to get there by how many cigarettes they would smoke on their journey.

This reminded me of a friend who when asked how long to bbq a roast, replied, "about 4 beers"
