US Presidential Election - What's your take?

Sarah Palin is quite pretty, it's true. And as we know, beauty is likely to be an important qualification for females in positions of power tokenism with the Republicans.

Actually, I think Republicans have had the prettiest women for quite some time. Here's an interesting exercise: If I do a GIS on the phrase "famous Republican women," this is what I get.

If I do the identical search with the phrase "famous Democratic women", I get this.

That's a little unsettling.

Definitely for republicain it's not the "inside" that is important!

Container over substance

Funny that Reese Witherspoon is in both search results.

Well spotted waarmie...
I lust Reese Witherspoon and thought I'd need to change my politics and religion to identify with her.... but now I see she's BI, and maybe swings both ways, no problem for me..

So I really like(d) Sarah Michelle Gellar (from a primitive male lust perspective). Who is obviously on the Republican overview. And this is what I see then: http://www.sheknows.com/entertainme...arah-michelle-gellar-supports-hillary-clinton

And that GIS overview also does not show celebrities as JLo, Madonna, KimK, Beyonce or Lady Gaga. Nor my favorite, Jada Pinkett.

Obviously, you don't necessarily get a true set of actual active politicians, either D or R, when you do that Google search. Still, the results were funny!

Speaking of swinging both ways, we went to a very good production of Cabaret yesterday evening. A musical that might have a hard time getting on stage in Indonesia.

Think I called this one when they started.

Over half the protesters not registered or did not vote.

Perfect. Just the information I was looking for.

In other cities like LA, some amount of protesters were illegal aliens. They can't vote.

I was listening to some coverage on NPR and many protesters were young white, Latino, and black. All groups that traditionally and in this election have really low turnout. One of the reporters was interviewing black protesters and asked if they voted. They didn't vote. The reporter was confused. Some responded that they elected a black president and he didn't do anything for black people so they don't believe in voting. It seems to be the new narrative for why black people showed up to vote for Obama and not Clinton. It couldn't be the race of the candidate.

Sorry Fastpitch but I need to protest here.
You can not use the ratio of voter among the trouble maker arrested as being the ratio of voter among all the protester.

Trouble maker are... trouble maker, not the kind of person that vote!

You can not apply this ratio over the whole protester.

Hey, 70% of the protesters here on the 4th could and did not vote (for the governor) either. Don't complain.

Add in interviews from other areas such as LA and you get the same results. I guess some people just want to belong to something.

Apparently protesters were also bused in. I wonder if they saw what happened in Indonesia decided that it was a good idea. :tongue1:

Trump just say he save an assembling plant of Ford to leave for Mexico:

Just got a call from my friend Bill Ford, Chairman of Ford, who advised me that he will be keeping the Lincoln plant in Kentucky - no Mexico
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) 18 novembre 2016

I worked hard with Bill Ford to keep the Lincoln plant in Kentucky. I owed it to the great State of Kentucky for their confidence in me!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) 18 novembre 2016

But Ford confirm they never had the intention to move this assembling line to Mexico!
The deal with the Union was only about the small car.

And he even made an end to that whole 'unclarity' where Obama was born. Luckily.

.
I am very glad to hear that Jared Kushner will solve all Palestine/Israeli issues.

And now I read that there should be (according to 'experts') a recount in three states where the computer voting has some unexplainable results?

By eradicating all palestinian????

I don't understand? I didn't read anything negative about him in the NY times. The article seemed complimentary of him. It usually refers to him as very calm and steady.

I uppose it's a good thing Trump isn't going to throw Clinton in prison or prefer any charges, that I think would be a dangerous precedent, every president throwing the oppents in prison, US isn't some tin pot banana republic where opponents get arrested and imprisoned
