Unnecessary Death in the Family

That's heartbreaking.

Naive question - is there any chance you could talk to the doctor and ask some "innocent" questions? It wouldn't do your family any good, but maybe under the guise of wanting to know more you could subtly try to educate the doctor?

(Yeah, probably a dumb idea.)
To be honest I would probably lose my temper and start berating him as soon as I seen an attitude from him and probably get arrested. People die at the hands of physicians wrong doings and they seem to just blow it off as all in a days work. I just do not see local doctors sitting at their desk asking themselves what I could have done differently. Indonesian culture makes it too that no one challenges anyone. Especially an above being a mere human being doctor.

I had a neighbor several years my junior, let’s call her Fifi. She wasn’t considered intelligent, but she went ahead into a private medical university regardless, because a doctor makes good living in Indonesia. I heard a rumor that she struggled, but she eventually graduated and got certified. I wouldn’t want to be her patient, but she’s out there.

Get a second opinion for anything serious, always.
