The military were the ones who did all they could to at least get people out. Nice to see the end. I was involved with it. The Vietnam War, Oh the US Gov. called it a Conflict. HaH! Tell that to the Soldiers on both sides, and their loved ones back home! Was a Tragedy that should have never happened!
In the US, we were told it was about stopping the rise of Communism! That term was a very effective way to get the Americans stirred up! It was a left over term from the McCarthy era. When the Government was supporting Anti Union groups that didn't want the workers to organize for better wages and working conditions! They even infiltrated Hollywood and bashed several Great Movie Stars. ( Carlie Chaplin, Errol Flynn,) The Government had people spying and Ratting on each other. If a person went to a rally in support of workers, they were called a Communist, and were treating very badly, lost their jobs, sometimes Killed! Remember The book The Grapes of Wrath? Of how the poor people of Oklahoma were tempted by flyers, telling them to come to California. The Land of Plenty! At a time when the Midwest of America was hit by Droughts, which created the Dustbowl Era!
When they arrived in California, they were treated like Shit, and had to camp by Rivers and Streams, and if they didn't want to work for Pennies, they were attacked and beaten by Straw bosses and hired Thugs! Many worked and couldn't pay for supplies to feed their families, so they borrowed from the Company Store! Which was owned by the Tyrannical Bosses, and by borrowing and getting payed so little, they basically became Slaves to the Corporations.
Oh, Sorry I got sidetracked. I heard The Vietnam War was secretly created because the US Gov. wanted Oil deposits, that were found below The Gulf of Tonkin! So that's why they invaded and sent all those unknowing innocent young Soldiers over there to fight in a terrain, they didn't have a clue about. Tropical rain forest. It was the Vietnamese's home so they knew the jungle very well. Such a Sad time, with so much Bombing innocent villages, and even spreading over into neighboring Cambodia, and Laos! Remember the image of that young child running down the road Naked, crying, burned!
Those times were a revolutionary time back home. People got sick and tired of seeing their loved ones come home in a Coffin, with the Flag draped over it!
Unfortunately The poor soldiers returned to being Scorned and Hated for serving over there. And the Damn Government also treated them like Shit, and provided very little monetary, or medical and Mental assistance to them! Not like the end of WW2, when the soldiers came home as Heroes, to ticker tape parades, and given jobs and financial support. The days of everyone having a nice home with a White picket fence around it, with Two kids and a dog, with a new car in the garage!
My brother went and returned a wreck! He never had any motivation, so he just did as little as possible, and squandered his life away on Booze and stupid friends! Sad!
I was lucky, I didn't have to go because the draft became a lottery system and my number was low. Then the War ended!
America needs another Revolution Now! To Stop this Tyrant in office that wants to be a Monarch! We must bring Americans back to their Senses! And put a Stop to these Oligarchs getting Hugh Tax breaks, and killing all the Social programs! Under the pretense of cutting waste!

I have tried to stay to the point of the many different threads and not insult others for giving their opinions. The moderators even reminded me that we should focus on the issue of the thread and not the other posters. Again and again, I was insulted for speaking my opinion. And yes, I stooped so low, as to lose my cool and insult back. I did express that I was Non Partisan, and was only giving my personal opinion. This post was about the effects of what the current President has had and is currently doing, that affects America. As far as I have seen, it has all been catastrophic, and down right cruel and deceiving to the common people of America, and has only benefited the Rich and Wealthy.
I expressed how I thought it was cruel to deny food and medicine to thousands of needy people, all in the name of stopping wasteful spending.
Many of the other posters, disagreed and even stood up for what was happening, even though when I asked them, but what about the hungry, starving, people being denied food and medicine, they said they supported the program and didn't care about that, because it was going to save Money!
Not one of them stood up and explained themselves as to how they thought it was OK to deny the Humanitarian benefits and justify possible Killing these People! They just stood up for the program because it was stopping wasteful spending. It seems they were too afraid to admit it!
As of now, the President and his administration, are cutting Social programs that help the common people, Taking that money, Raising the Debt ceiling and giving it to the Rich and Corporate leaders, by giving Tax cuts to the Rich, and Corporate leaders!
I for one, think this is an Outrage, and should be Stopped! But that is only my opinion. If others on this forum support that, then that is their prerogative! !
So, instead of insulting me for my opinion, I ask others to give their opinions on this subject, and we will all, hear what they have to say!

So what is the fuss about? They legally received the funding, to help Homeowners, and Renters, replace antiquated equipment, with new equipment to increase Efficiency! And so what If Stacy Abrams was involved? I fail to see how this is a problem? And it was fully disclosed to the public, before Dog-E was created! Isn't this what everyone has their Nickers in a twist about now? Efficiency of spending?
I remember Conservative Politicians have had it out for Her since day One! because she has always promoted helping the poor, and unrepresented! Right on Stacy!

I remember that incident with Biden's pardon's. To be more accurate, He reduced the sentences, not pardoned, because they had been given sentences that were too extreme, and too long, for the Non Violent crimes they had committed. Yea, you're right about his Son and the rest. Remember Johnson even Pardoned Richard Nixon!

You don't seem to get it. All the Fat Cats getting Huge Tax Breaks, saves them millions of $ each! The False claim that by doing this, The Wealthy will spend more money helping the Poor, just doesn't Work!
They Don't Trickle it Down, and Keep all the Money! I pointed out, how what the Executive of a Major Corporation makes in 1 year, It would take an Employee 200 years, to make the same amount of dough!
