We’ve been doing an intown hotel staycation for the last couple of weeks, since we couldn’t come to Indonesia, as usual.

So, no home cooked Indonesian food, but plenty of good comfort food. They did have an excellent Hawaiian fusion restaurant, Roy’s, that we ate at a few times. Some excellent fish, lobster tails, and lots of tasty appetizers. Way more than I ever spend in Indonesia, though.

4 types of fish. Salmon, Mahi-Mahi, butterfsh, and tuna for Ibu.

Filet Mignon and lobster tail, with scalloped potatoes, and some veggies.

I remembered that I wanted cornmeal, but had actually forgotten the most important reason... hush puppies! My kid has never had hush puppies. I'll have to pick some of this stuff up and remedy the situation during the next long holiday.

Honestly, if I get booted out, then solo be it. My IT skills have, if anything, increased in the time I have worked here. If I need to find a new career, I will work it out
