The salami sandwich was today's lunch, sadly the baguette was not crispy..
This is due to the actual high humidity in the air, it is impossible to keep bread crispy for more than a few hours. Of course, I could have given a bit of a booster in the oven... (Wet it a little bit under the tap, then in the oven 200C for 10/13 min).
But I was hungry .....

on the recommendation of one of the mrs colleagues we went to a different place for soto ayam......
just like to say
that was the nastiest shit I've had in a long while

And last but not least: home made no bake cheese cake. The crust is made of almond flour with melted butter and flavoring. The topping is made from cream cheese, cream and greek yogurt and vanilla extract.
I tried keto and it was not sustainable, but judging by the foods you eat I think you can keep it up. Do you give yourself cheat days? I see a lot of people on keto do that, and combined with IF I wonder how that works.

Spaghetti bollognaise yesterday

And today pork medallion, baby potatoes, green beans "extra fin", and the usual cream and mushroom sauce.

Only 1 cheat meal in 7 weeks, which was last Sunday incidently. Stuffed myself with pâté, bread, steak tartare, French fries, rosé and a tarte tatin flambée.

No terrible consequence but did trigger some cravings the next day.

Already back on track but I need to slow down on the almond bread.

How was the coconut flour hamburger buns? That looked pretty decent. I've made a few different low carb stuff myself. Have yet to make a decent burger buns or bread. Have made a couple batches of okay brownies, 'donuts', etc...but the damn bread keeps escaping me.

Pretty good but following the recipe, I ended up with tiny buns so those burgers were more like sliders.

Here's the recipe:

That channel has a lot of other great keto recipes.

Yep I'm familiar with that channel...I've gotten a couple other good ones from there!

You definitely eat good..how often do you eat out? I know Bali got quite a lot of nice restaurants (stayed there for 5 days which is not enough for me..)

Eating out usually 2 times per week, sometimes 3.
Indeed plenty choices of international cuisine here in Bali.
And yep food is VERY important to me, and the Missus living with me since 7 years has learned to appreciate it as well. (And has picked up a few kgs in the process....)
But she has become pretty good at cooking French style !

Maybe you guys should open a thread about workout and livestyle ?
And keep this one for food.

Just a polite suggestion ....

Agreed, I will move the off-topic posts in a new thread.

Back on topic, today I made chocolate mousse with 100% dark chocolate from Surabaya, sweetened with keto friendly sweetener. Now cooling down in the fridge, will update after trying it.
