Some New Immigration Fees

How about retirement visa cost? No spouse.
I understand they are doing this for a living, but charging 3 to 5 times the cost at immigration seems like we're getting gouged!
The fees have always been freely posted all over the net. Did you not look at the costs compared to how much an agent charges? That's on you. I haven't used an agent for a single thing since I have been here. Immigration tells you everything you need to do and you just get the paperwork they request. No magic involved. If you are here for a job and your employers pays for the agent, then this part is not directed at you. BTW I thought you were all for paying a high rate for Indonesian help since they are making a living or is that just when it doesn't involve you?

Nothing listed on the Director Generals fee schedule but Costs off Google search : 14.5 juta for 1 year and 46.5 juta for the 5 year "Golden Visa" if applying from O/Seas . Slightly cheaper if done in Indonesia . Agents are charging anything from 30-50 juta for the 1 year and 140 juta for the 5 year . You also have to invest a signifigant amount in Indonesia , have seen figures of 500 juta mentioned . Plus gaurantee of monthly income , 20 juta , +++++ a list of other cost . Getting Gouged , Getting Cleaned and Gutted I'd say .
Ah okay, I didn't know you have to pay even for leaving the country. Kind of strange

This topic has just recently caught my attention. I had not seen the cost directly from immigration, until someone just posted it. I have always used an agent since I was still on the sosbud visa. He is my sponsor and using him for my immigration needs seemed the easiest way to go. You say you have always done this on your own. Then who is your sponsor? Do you pay your sponsor? I bet you have an Indonesian wife, that deals with your immigration needs, and makes it easy for you!
I have always lived pretty far from Denpasar, so using an agent was the easiest route for me to go. They handled all the paperwork, and I only had to make one trip for the biometrics.
Yes, I am all for paying the Indonesians a fair rate of income. These rates being posted of what some agents are charging are not fair! They are exploitative!
You seem to take pleasure in giving me a hard time? This forum is a place where we all can express our opinions, and if we have it, our expertise on a subject. You seem to not like it if someone doesn't think like you, and you say mean spirited, and derogatory words, directed at that person.

I'm not sure what I said that was mean spirited or derogatory and hurt your feelings. I could care less if someone agrees with me or not but I'm too old to candy coat every statement. If you feel I have been unfair, then please feel free to report what I said to the admins. And BTW what the hell is that jpeg you attached? It appears to be outside my limited intellect. If you have something to say, just say it.

What is the exit only permit? In which situation do you need it?
Anyone with a Residence Permit (e-ITAS/KITAS or KITAP) who decides to leave Indonesia and not return or return with a new Visa , should request an Exit Only Permit/EPO .

Many foreigners in this situation had just left Indonesia , not knowing about the EPO . But by not getting the EPO may result in a denied future visa request until an equivalent permit ("ERP Tidak Kembali/ERP Not Return") is issued . It may be a big headache because this ERP Tidak Kembali requires some "hard to get" documents (see below) , and unless Immigration offers the process online , it has to be requested at the Immigration Office where the Residence Permit was issued .

Required documents for an ERP Tidak Kembali (from https://imigrasingurahrai.kemenkumh...rp-tidak-kembali/#1658366476221-eaf9e53c-05ae)
1). Application letter from the sponsor;
2). Photocopy of the sponsor's KTP;
3). Photocopy of the passport;
4). KITAS / KITAP;
5). IMTA and DPKK (original and photocopy) for Work KITAS / KITAP Work;
6). Photocopy of the Study Permit Approval Letter from the Ministry of Education and Culture *for Student KITAS;
7). Photo of exit stamp;
8). Photocopy of departure e-ticket
