Could be good idea; however even if somebody offer me this approach at significant lower cost; I will not buy not even for free. Most if not all those are Liyhium Ion batery. While Lithium-ion batteries offer higher energy density and faster charging, but more prone to some safety issues including fire and explosion. I heard some not very good report about the super expensive Tesla powerwall.
In the other hand, LiFePO4 batteries are known for their safety and longer lifespan although bulkier than Li ion.
Still very interesting with the fact, the battery that techically shorter life span, the system has remained uninterrupted since 2016.

But aren't all cellphones, and laptops, using Lithium Ion batteries? How did you send this message?

for info who want to install, with 11,000 WP PV panel, my daily electricity production is vary 15KWH when rain all day to 42 KWH.

The system has been operating for a year with 100% availability, and have effectively produced approx, 13,000 KWH (actual was mire), equal to Rp. 22 million.
So far Im happy.

Yes, need to add extra margin to anticipate low production days, and backup genset might be necessary or hv to compromise. I know some who 100% off grid.
As example, my average daily consumption is 40 kwh, but today, raining and cloudy whole day, i get 12 Kwh only.

What the solar contractors ’forget’ to tell you, is that PLN has some kind of veto. They force you to switch from pre-paid (token) to post-paid (subscription/abo). And you’re not even allowed to install a system without approval etc. And since 2024 they don’t pay you anymore for the electricity you put back in the grid. (Bit like other countries where solar panels are too successful but at least in Oz you get subsidies for the batteries.)
