well well well. 2 and a half years of trying to get CatSip personnel to fix my SKTT and 2 and a half years of them not following the proper procedures. Now I need a KTP-OA and they want to issue a SKTT as a favor, for a price. Get documents they want. Wong ones. Travel back and forth to Jakarta a couples times, still want us to go again. Get documents that are not available to me from Jakarta and still want. ENOUGH
Formed a posse. Head, a SMA school teacher who speaks, reads, and writes perfect English. My wife to stand there when called upon. A niece of a high ranking CatSip officer with a different department, our driver who is a friend of the SMA teacher and seems to know where every place we need to go is located, and myself who is contributing hardly anything.
The niece contacts her Aunt and explains what I need and the problem people I was dealing with. Aunt says she knows that person and understands there would probably be problems. Aunt contacts Male Officer ahead of KTPs and conveys my needs. He said to come in and see him. Sent teacher in and she was given a list of things he required to get KTP-OA and KK. We had all the documents he required except he wanted a new domisili for me even though i had one already. My last one showed my sponsor, this new one just shows me. Any way, also wants a police report.
Headed to Lurah for a new domisili. had to first go to RT and then to area representative for property tax and get a copy of the BPP for our home. ???We rent... Doesn't matter, still have to have one. Go to RT, he is busy playing with his friend. His words. He will drop off later that evening. Go to Tax man, get a copy of the BPP and he tells us no other renter ever needed one. Still, gives it to us. Finished with yesterday because have to wait for RT. He came by last evening at 8. gave us a blank signed form. Like that was impossible when he was playing with his friend. No, he likes to come by and hang out at our house for an hour or more. OK, filled out the form ourselves after he left.
Start today early. Go to Lurah with everything they need. No, go to police first. OK, go to police. Sorry, not in today while three officers sat there talking with nothing else to do. Come back tomorrow at 9. Went to CatSip to clarify a couple of the demands for KTP-OA that Lurah confused us on. Seen lady in charge of the imbeciles I was dealing with. Rolls her eyes when their names mentioned and gives us the needed advise. OK, back to Lurah to argue. Officer that had made paperwork for us at another time was there now. Pak Lurah was even in now. Didn't need to go to police for Lurah purposes. Got the paperwork needed for CatSip. Lunch. All morning with 3.5 hours spent at Lurah. Have to wait till tomorrow now for police report. Sure, not required any more but just going to get what this guy said.
Tomorrow will go back to police and as long as we get the police report right away, we can drop off at catSip since they are open until noon on Saturdays for now.
What about all the documents I ran back and forth to Jakarta for? Never needed them for KITAP holder. What about the forms that are being still demanded from me? Nope, not needed for KITAP holder. What about this SKTT crap? Not for KITAP holder. Seems once I got my KITAP the people trying to cheat me and cover their mistakes by implying they were my mistakes are not even the people you see for the KTP-OA. They handle the people with KITAS. They were very well aware that I held a KITAP but still continued to play games with this they will do me favors if I do them favors.
So, hopefully I can turn everything into CatSip by tomorrow. If not, Monday and then wait. They said it would take some time with the back log they have. Don't care as long as it's coming. All the government people I have seen personally these past couple days when all this was being done. Only the RT if you count him as a government person. The rest of the team took care of everything else.
