Nuclear submarines and regional security.

and the inflationary impact being felt almost everywhere
The inflationary impact is not due to Putin starting the war (remember he continued his deliveries.of gas and oil) but due to the stupid reaction, boycott, embargo etc by the West.
My government is supposed to have the French people's wellbeing as a priority. In this case, in case of some "moral obligations" they screwed the French people and the French economy big time....
And our good American "friends" by blowing up N.S. 1 and 2 made sure the Germans did not change their mind !

🤦🏼‍♂️ And who told you that, Georges from République Souveraine? Or did you read it in the Gavroche? How can someone be so biased and single minded…

No. 1 > Columbia University’s Professor Jeffrey Sachs accused the US of sabotaging the Nord Stream pipeline in the Baltic Sea, during a televised interview with Bloomberg, prompting the television host to pull the plug on his TV interview.

Well, first, there is direct radar evidence that US military helicopters that are normally based in Gdansk were circling over this area,' Sachs said.

'We also had the threat from the US [President Joe Biden] earlier this year that "one way or another we are going to end Nord Stream."

'We also had a remarkable statement from [US] Secretary [of State Antony] Blinken last Friday in a press conference where he said "this is also a tremendous opportunity."'

No.2 > Veteran U.S. investigative journalist Seymour Hersh alleged in a self-published report that U.S. Navy divers helped by Norway had planted explosives on the pipelines running under the Baltic Sea between Russia and Germany last June and detonated them three months later.

No.3 > The US voted against a UNSC investigation of the blasts on the pipelines. Is the USA afraid of the truth that would come out?

On the Nordstream destruction you and I actually agree for once, the USA is the most likely culprit.

But this point that the US voting against an investigation implicates them; you must agree then that China voting against investigations of the Wuhan lab also implicate malfeasance and coverup?

I would not be at all surprised if the US were behind the Nordstream explosion. Balifrog earlier provided a link to a Washington Post story about Reagan approving sabotage of Russia's infrastructure that played a major part in the collapsde of the USSR.. However, showing instances of the Americans being bad guys does not mean the CCP represents the good guys. Historically, most big powers have bullied and used all sort of devious means to overwhelm countries seen as hostile to their interests. So no surprises that China is now flexing its muscles and also resorting to devious and immoral activities.

For any article or result of ‘investigative journalism’ (as usual based on anonymous sources) that point a finger to the US, I can show you one that talks about Russia or blames Ukraine or even the UK, Poland and Norway. It’s all speculation. ”there was a helicopter!” “not true it flew on more than 9 km distance” etc. etc.

Do you think any country is squeaky clean? Every country has their dirty secrets but the world is more complicated than Russia or China is bad but the US and it's allies are good. Every country is looking out for it's own interests and what is right or wrong depends on your viewpoint. I can't understand why anyone would think differently. 50% of Americans can't even agree with each other so why would the world stage be any better? The media is biased as well based on location and political leaning, so who do we trust to give us the real story?

The Wuhan lab was already investigated by the WHO, not once but twice, didn't you know?

The next lab that should be investigated is the Fort Detrick US Army Lab, but the USA is not allowing that to happen.

Why should China allow a third visit if the USA is not opening up Fort Detrick for international investigation?

Can you name some of the devious and immoral activities?

Territorial and maritime disputes not included as many countries also have such disputes with other countries.

Regarding "flexing its muscles", China was poor, but now rich. What do you expect? Now they have the money to build their army, navy, and air force. Do you expect a wealthy nation to have a weak military?

The fighting in Sudan, USA is suspect again.

Did PRC cooperate fully with the WHO investigation?

Yes, but China is not, unlike the US, boasting that they are the perfect democracy, that they have a mission, etc....
What is understable coming from a autocracy is unacceptable coming from a country that want to be the shining example of the world !

How about the Wagner Group, what do they have to do with the troubles in Sudan?
BTW, Kim Iversen has next to no credibility.

Bear in mind that there was no trouble until after Victoria Nuland visited Sudan.
