new covid new lockdowns?

My point was about people wearing masks on public transport not in a work or school place

In Japan and HK genpop has been using masks for many years pre covid on public transport so not unusual to see, now in Jakarta also many people using masks on PUBLIC TRANSPORT but for hygiene and pollution reasons, not because of covid etc

If there is a new lockdown, it is almost certain that the stock market will tank. Commodities like oil futures and stocks of oil exploitation companies, the hospitality industry, airline industries, retailers, and the entertainment industry relying on physical presence will be severely affected. On the other hand, tech stocks related to collaborative work, online stores, supermarkets, and deliveries will likely perform well. Biotech stocks working on vaccines will also likely see a rise.

If you come across solid evidence that a new lockdown will be imposed, you should consider accumulating a pool of cash to invest in the stock market on the early days of the lockdown. Furthermore, taking action now through short selling might be advantageous. You could short stocks with multiple leverage, expecting their prices to fall.

However, I believe there's a better chance or probability of multiplying your money by buying EuroMillions lottery tickets than by speculating on the occurrence of lockdowns.

Just got back from Aus and a requirement at the hospital before a procedure was that anyone from overseas had to be back 7 days before being admitted. Another requirement was a RAT test showing no Covid. Masks were not being required as before although a fair sprinkling of staff and patients wearing them,. Publicly, masks wearers were in the minority. Airlines not requiring masks but advising not to travel if feeling unwell. No talk of a future lockdown.

Interesting looking back at some of the measures taken during the pandemic. Governments felt a need to be seen as taking serious measures so there was that mania for spraying. Cars, buses, streets, anything and everything even though there were health warnings that indicated spraying was hazardous and no evidence of it being effective. What I suspect was effective was that there were players in the supply line of the chemicals who made a lot of money. Would be interesting to follow the money to see where it went. In 2020 in the UK one in five government awarded contracts were believed to involve corruption. Twenty-seven PPE or testing contracts worth £2.1bn were awarded to firms with connections to the Conservative party.

Hi Harryopal1, good point about following the money trail. Unfortunately some greedy sick people make a fortune over others dilemma. Even during WW2 the US for one, was making bank in the arms industry and I heard even with the Nazi regime. People don't want to believe this so they turn a blind eye over what's called patriotism. Didn't a lot of the Nazi's go to South America with all the spoils of war? So now the pharmaceutical industry will capitalize on a new form of Corona. While they keep the masses groveling just to put food on the table and pay rent. It's always been this way, with the elites and the peasants. They are experts at keeping the masses afraid and under just a fews control. But the masses outnumber them and if we made anarchy and stopped paying taxes we would regain our freedom!

The NWO/WHO/UN are in fact planning the next lock down. They are planning a big "Climate Change" lock down for the near future. I suggest everyone research the UN Agenda 21, Agenda 2030, & Agenda 2050. Also please research what the WHO is really all about. None of this is a "Conspiracy Theory", it's all a FACT. With all of this said, politics are sneakier & dirtier than your worst nightmare. Never trust a government that's following any policies/demands given to them by the UN/WHO, etc.

Indonesia doesn't like to declare and possible health emergencies. Looks bad. I think the need to call all this TB as a epidemic.

Around 20 percent of people in malls here wear mask. Air quality is not a problem. Wife and I wear mask whenever we leave the house. In 3 years, no covid, no flu, no colds, no nothing. We do believe that wearing mask definately helped in controlling the spread of covid.

Long term mask & face shield wearing did not prevent my father in law from dying in a hospital here in Jakarta last year. First he was admitted as not feeling well. Then had the so called "COVID TEST", which they put the label on him as "COVID POSITIVE". His condition went down hill quickly once they started "TREATMENT", & within a few days he was DEAD.
Fact is, COVID is a damn scam, & the "Treatments" are killing people, & they know it. Everything bad happening in the world is by design.

There comes a time in life when we must all start researching things we hear or read about in order to determine the real story. If we don't do that then we are nothing more than gullible willing sheeple slaves who fall for everything the Mainstream News Media & Goverment's tell us.

Unfortunately that is all the people can access now. I agree about the mainstream media, but it seems everything that is put out there is possible true or not. All of this crap makes me want to go back to the forest and live like an apeman. La, la, la, la, laah, to live like an apeman!
 
I'm all for a bit of free-thinking, but most of the time, "I did my own research" = I watched some nutty youtube video shared in a Facebook group of like-minded cranks.

And actual free thinker would be open to having their mind changed, based on new evidence, just saying...

Agree 100%. The problem now is that nobody want's to listen to the other side and have a reasonable discussion. If you don't think what I think, then you are wrong, no discussion and it comes from both sides.

The masks and shields are to limit how far an infected person propels water droplets containing a virus. Their purpose is not to protect the wearer.
COVID-19 is a disease, not a scam. The scams are done by those exploiting the vulnerability of those affected by the disease, or the gullibility of those unable or unwilling to filter information.
 
Even if you don't want to go as far as saying COVID was a scam (and certian aspects were) it is a much safer thing to say that it wasn't as advertised.

You're a Conspiracy hack. FYI, while a member if the US military it was my job to research diseases, investigate outbreaks, and find person zero within that research. I had 2 epidemics and numerous local outbreaks to research. I had to learn where to look for information and what to avoid.

Covid was no scam. Sorry for anyone who lost someone to it. I too had family members die from it. In my case it was from because people here refused to accept it due to all the bad information running by word or mouth. Those nasty conspiracy theories running wild. If covid was such a scam and people died only because of ill-gotten treatment then why did many live with the same treatment. Covid treatment had many variables. How far the disease progressed before seeking help is a main one and no, advancement doesn't always mean someone is feeling they are on their deathbed even though they really are. Covid had many faces and that was one of the problems in how to treat.

Perhaps you could just stick a UV light up your ass and inject some bleach. I'm sure you might learn a lesson concerning your research methods.

Mask are so the wearer does not spread covid. Unless you double mask they do little to protect someone against covid. They stop the particulate you are spreading. Some people have covid that have no symptoms. They still can spread it. Maybe those that want to follow junk science because they are not capable of real research so refuse to wear mask are the same people spreading covid to their family members.

The terrible thing about how covid was treated was that sone made it political and hundreds of thousands that may have lived, did not. Go blame them for refusing or interfering with science. The covid treatments and vaccines were a big priority and happened in record time. No, they didn't have all the answers but they sure didn't need all these snake oil promoters. Really, what do you want?

Conspiracies are for the weak minded individuals who don't have the intelligence to make their own decisions based on sound evidence. They just follow along like the sheep they are. I can imaging your middle name is something like Q
