I've been told the test is a way of the Government to pierce the fragile lining at the top of your nasal system to make you more likely to get sick. I haven't heard of one person enjoying that test. Have you?

Couple of weeks ago (see post #97), I asked management of the gym to put up a sign "stay home when you have symptoms of covid19". The answer I got back was "we follow the regulation of government regarding Covid19".

So, saya juga ikut aja regulation goverment .. or better to say .. there is no regulation about testing covid19 now. Just spreading the virus ... huh news.

Still it would be good to know if you have it, so you can take measures to not sneeze on someone with a bad immune system.

What is the point, if I am the only one going to test for Covid19 and the rest of the coughing and sneezing population is not.

And btw influenza is a deadly virus too. Nobody is going to take a test for that.

My understanding is that just past the septum is adequate. Is it necessary to drive the stick up into your brain? I suppose watching people squirm is a perk of the job. But anyway.... I know nothing.

True, happened to me a couple of times. I needed a negative test result for traveling to Europe back then. So, I didn't mind.

Man, never got a vaccine, never had a test.

Continued my life as usual, beach, restaurant and pub.
Still alive and kicking, and I am 70 .....

When free vaccinations were offered we had them as it had become obvious that you would need evidence of vaccinations, and then later boosters, if you were to travel. Wife and her daughter both felt a bit off for a few days after getting them but happily for me no adverse reaction. Were it not for the travel requirements I would prefer not to get them. Across the years have never had flu vaccinations.

I remember when it was mandatory for all the locals to get the jab here in my town. If you said you didn't want to get it they looked at you like you were crazy and dangerous. They love to follow the rules and do like everyone else. They learned that well, being forced to go to ceremonies! I saw it was better just to not say anything. Some Bule's that got the jab, got really angry with me if I said I didn't want to get it. And got defensive! I decided to just shut up.
