Well, it's not really in the actual news but I figured it ought to be.
In front of my office building is a 1 one-way 3-lane road, and about 700 meters down this road is a u-turn to get on the other side of the toll. Somewhere near the end of February they decided to close that u-turn for roadworks and force everyone to make an illegal u-turn at the traffic light 200 meters further, somehow creating total traffic chaos as it blocked traffic coming from another direction. That 700 meters which usually takes a minute or so, turned into a 20 to 30 minute test of your patience. On the fence they put around the roadworks they put a sign stating that the roadworks would finish on the 14th of April.
We had a pot going at work, the odds were not in your favor if you betted that they would make it but low and behold; they actually finished! Now I'm back to my usual 20 minute commute and life is all good.
So, here's to hoping that they continue this trend and finish more projects on time
