Yes they all need the affidavit. They only get the passport stamp if you show the other passport to Indonesian immigration. Since there is no obligation to actually get the second passport, not all kids will get the stamp.

Sorry for hitting this thread again, but I wanted to supplement what I posted before: I attached a snap of the newest version of the affidavir, issued 1st June 2023. The previous version was issued in 2020.

At the Indo. consulate in Hong Kong.

What was the solution?

We applied for and received affidavits for each child even though they each had a valid Indo. passport. I believe that each affidavit cost 400,000 rupiah.

It's a facebook group: Komunitas Kawin Campur and Komunitas Kawin Campur Indonesia. There are plenty of specific countries like Indo-NL or Indo - UK but i dont join them

There are many FB groups for the “Indonesian Community in country X/Y/Z”. And in reality these practically always comprise members of mixed marriages. Of course the same for the Philippines, Thailand, …

This is the one that has been active in getting laws changed, including being very involved in getting postnups accepted. Its an important group trying to help all of us. They are actively pushing for dual citizenship

I concur. It's not just arisan and party. They actually have pushed for legal reform etc successfully too
