He was posting just 2 days ago. At times he likes to hibernate.We used to hear from jstar quite a bit but he seems to have somewhat dropped off? Any conspiracy theories on why?

I was also thinking about what happened to him. He used to contribute a lot in the old forum. Since the forum was changed ... he became more of a ghost user. Maybe he is very busy with life. The same with Scooter... Both are very quiet now.

Scooter is out of the country. JStar has only been missing since the 7th. I'm sure he will be around whenever he feels like it.

A ghost poster? You are talking about a member who has posted over 1.100 posts since July 1st, 2016 on this forum which is an average of more than 5 posts per day! In fact in the old forum, jstar's contributions were averaging "only" 3,05 posts per day.
As a matter of comparison, your average post per day is only 1,78 posts / day and mine is only 3,7 posts a day. If he is a ghost poster I wonder what we are.

You guys haven't seen the Jakarta Carnival yet it seems...
Wot? That's not a carnival? That's a FPI demo? Yet I have never seen an equivalent rally of clowns anywhere in the world.

I guess one of the reasons I like my sleeply little city. While we have protest and political rallys from time to time. They set up inside the main roundabout in the Kota with police in front making sure no traffic is interrupted. I have never seen more then maybe 25 people on the roundabout at one time holding banners and signs. Most just wave at the motorist and people driving don't pay them much attention. Half day and they are gone and there is no trash left behind. Maybe those pictures that show up in the newspapers of people arrested that have bandages on the "fronts" of their legs because they were shot while trying to escape makes a diffence.
A couple of posters appeared to rule out his homeland as there is nothing good there....................oh I may have read that wrong no good beer anyways. I think I will go with what fastpitch said above as the most probable event.

....does not really cut it. Carnaval in Aalst is to be considered as one of the best in Europe, yes. But we have done some other stuff as well; life can not only be sex, drugs and rock 'n roll.
Anyway, we're back now and I appreciate your concerns. I will be here till September but it is somewhat too hectic to start posting just yet. I will reply in Daniel's "Leaving INDONESIA" thread though, explaining my virtual departures (I.e. not staying in one place all the time).
