Putin has agreed to meet with Zelinski. Zelinski offered 7 cities they could meet. Putin said had to be Belarus. Zelinski say no way he would meet in a place that is firing missles at him. He probably knows if he goes into the lions den there will be no way out. He isn't a fool.
I doubt any meeting would bring any kind of agreement. Putin will make the same demands as he has been and there is no way Ukraine will agree.

Now that Putin has again mentioned his nuclear deterrent, I have a feeling some time in the next couple of days he is going to make a specific threat to use them against a specific country or city, just to have the satisfaction of seeing a mass panic and evacuation. With the heat ray weapon being wheeled in, Belarus about to join in, and various nuclear threats going around, this is about to get much worse.
Not saying I necessarily agree (not really familiar with everyone here yet), but that sentiment seems to be true for a lot of people about a lot of things now. My favorite is the person who only gets their news from social media headlines and takes everything they see in their online echo chamber as fact.

My mistake, that was Balifrog who enthusiastically pointed out corruption in Ukraine to justify Russia’s action. It would be funny if it’s not so sad, because Russia herself is not particularly known to be a corruption-free country.

I read Zelenskyy asked for a face to face. I guess he didn't stipulate who's face. Now there will be a meeting on the Ukraine and Belarus boarder. In the mean time, russia's invasion continues.

The farmer towing the tank away on the back of his tractor amused me... if there is anything at all amusing to be found in this situation. The Ukrainians filming it seemed to find it hilarious.

The video with the pensioner who got hit & had her leg/s? blown off, when out doing her shopping soon took my amusement away, she later died in hospital.
