US Presidential Election - What's your take?

Kennedy did, by appointing his (well-qualified, AFAIK) brother as AG. But neither Bush appointed a nuclear family member to a cabinet position, nor did Clinton appoint his wife to the cabinet.
But Trump is an unscrupulous boor who doesn't recognize such fine distinction.

Just watched a gentleman called Jones, a conspiracy theorist, it appears Trump listens to him, downhill all the way.

Good article from the Boston Globe. It outlines how even if Trump loses, the yokels / rednecks / bogans / hillbillies, whatever you want to call them, who seem to form the core of his "base" have been emboldened and feel "validated" by having heard their own fears, prejudices, bitter resentments and bigoted emotions expressed and echoed by such a "great" individual, and indeed having helped propel said person to the forefront of one of the two major political parties in the nation and one election away from the Presidency of the United States.

Win, lose or draw, bringing these people fully out of the shadows and making them feel "respectable" once more will be Trump's legacy from his campaign, one that hopefully will not be as lasting as he or they might like:

I don't know about election rule for american...

What is the time frame for Trump can quit (telling the election is rigged) and the party can come with another ''better'' choice?

What other choice the party could present in place of Trump?

Moot question; speculate all you wish, but the bottom line is that Trump is not going to withdraw his candidacy, regardless of who has floated the possibility in the national press.

Megalomaniacs seldom back down.

I was more thinking of him being push out!!!

Anyway, it would not change a lot, Hilary would win anyway.
This will be a loooong 3 month for the republican to have this parano as their candidate.
Many must be eager the election can be pass and they can get rib of him

Pushing Trump out implies that there is a committee in a smoke filled room somewhere with the power to denominate the Republican's chosen candidate. There isn't. The Republicans were hoisted by Trump on their own petard.

The only thing that is holding Republican stalwarts behind the ticket is their hatred for Obama and the almost hysterical fear that a new Clinton administration will be daughter-of-Obama.

They should all make an heart attack soon...

Last week, I watched an episode of Hanger 1: UFO Files (S1, Ep.5) on History channel. The episode was about past & present (yes, I’m talking about Obama) US presidents who have seen or believed in UFOs, and who have promised to reveal what the government knows about it. Most presidents from Eisenhower believed it, while two (Carter & Reagan) saw it before they became president. But all failed to reveal the truth to the public after they took office (including Obama). Looks like the gatekeeper of the UFO files convinced each & every president that the public cannot handle it yet. I don’t know if Trump will if he becomes president as he’s the craziest of them all. He’s crazy but he may be good for America… crazy solution for crazy problem.

More bad news for Trump: 50 senior Republican national security officials wrote a letter saying that Trump “lacks the character, values and experience” to be president and “would put at risk our country’s national security and well-being.” Also, Trump “would be the most reckless president in American history.”

The letter says Mr. Trump would weaken the United States’ moral authority and questions his knowledge of and belief in the Constitution. It says he has “demonstrated repeatedly that he has little understanding” of the nation’s “vital national interests, its complex diplomatic challenges, its indispensable alliances and the democratic values” on which American policy should be based. And it laments that “Mr. Trump has shown no interest in educating himself.”

The signers of this letter includes 2 former Secretaries of Homeland Security (Tom Ridge and Michael Chertoff), a former director of the CIA and NSA (Michael V. Hayden), and a former Director of National Intelligence (John D. Negroponte).

& he has responded by saying they are losers :D

I stayed up last night to listen to his hour-long prattle on how he will reform the economy.
His main discourse was to denigrate the Clintons and Obama, which are easy targets, but still he fails to disclose his own tax-receipts and he outsources a lot of his business off-shore as does his daughter in her business.
He also wants to cancel inheritance-tax which must have made his daughter, in the audience, wet herself with delight...the hypocrisy must have stunk the room...as well as her wet knickers....which were probably made in India.

"Hanger 1" as a source for an informed Presidential selection decision is certainly a novel approach.

I believe I recall that a while back there was a proposal by Republican Senator Roland Hruska that because there are a lot of mediocre, ill informed American there should be a mediocre, ill informed member of the Supreme Court representing their interests (see nomination of G. Harrold Carswell).

Sounds similar to your thought that crazy problems will best be solved by a crazy person. I will grant you that some of America's problems are serious, but they are not particularly unique or even historically unusual. (I am not even sure what a "crazy" problem looks like.) Your reasoning that America would be best served by a barking mad psychopath is based on a false premise to begin with. Meaning there is no need to discuss it on the merits.
