Where are you looking? These seem unreasonably low for anywhere in DKI Jakarta, but I could imagine them out in "kampung".That is not enough for a decent microwave plus TV let alone AC. Can any property be upgraded?
Found some with 2200W even that is only 9 amps. Won't power anything
Be aware that the higher your power, the higher the power pricing bracket you will be placed in.
No, no, this is very recent news that PLN is going to get away with the various levels of subscribed power for the unsubsidized rates. Which means from 900 Watts (if you don't fall under the poverty line) through 6,600 watts (I think) will all be treated the same and you'll have the same upper limit of 6,600 watts (I think).Rabbit,
Sorry it wasn't my intention to get others to do my Googling. Many thanks
Yes there is approximately 40% more capacity of installed power than the peak demand in Java. Pretty well known fact.Too much power? Really?
We had this problem at a new rental home. PLN had a special promo and we contacted the owner who upgraded the service. It took PLN 10 minutes to do it. Just a change of fuse and readding your balance to the machine. It was cheap and the owner paid it. I think we are sitting at 3300w now. That is not enough for a decent microwave plus TV let alone AC. Can any property be upgraded?
