Bali's Gunung Agung Alert Level Raised

Just another bump, probably as hard as the one yesterday. Did you feel it @Davita ?

I was out buying tarp to cover the pool and only felt the potholes in Jl Malboro...hehehe.
Below is the result of my tarp construction. I'm prepared, just in case...

Re: post # 62
I know we have many bright members on the forum...so here's a problem....
The tarp is 5 metres wide. It's secured 2 metres up the wall. My pool is 4 metres from the wall to the edge of the far tiles. When I pull the tarp out....how much can I expect to overhang the grass so I can tie it down thru' the eyelets?
Sorry...no prizes for the correct answer....only the ability to self-gloat...:high5::nerd:

And if you get one metre of ash over the tarp and everything else?
Had a friend when as a child his family went picnicking in NZ beside a "dormant" volcano. It blew up. His father got killed.
Anyway, the North Korean nukes might start blowing up before this volcano.
I think God has an awful lot to answer for. I mean really, what was he thinking when he created this mess and especially since he knows the beginning and the end. Why bother?

hahaha...one metre of ash everywhere...on the upside it will stop the dogs from barking and add a muffler to noisy motor bikes.

And we have another winner....I'd calculated as 0.5825m and misread macvert's approx. 528mm...Jeez!.. Now I feel like that guy who pronounced the wrong winner of the Miss Universe contest.

Anyway...R.C now gets first pick of macverts attached pics on post # 68 and, sorry mac...please don't fret, you get the runner-up prize...a climbing pass on Mount Agung...:tinfoil3:...to be used before 1 Oct.

Sadly all wrong. When the ash lands on the tarp and the tarp is touching the water then Archimedes is your man.

Archimedes...is he Balinese?...
Ketut is my 'handy' man...his idea is the ash slides off onto the grass and fertilizes it....but, if Harryopal is right, and there's a metre of ash you'll hear the call......'anyone need any fertilizer...free pick-up! bring your own....:painkiller:'

This part of the thread is mostly fertilizer. Bring your own spade.

The answer my friend is blowing in the wind?

You mean Elton John and Bob Dylan are coming to Bali...hooray! I hope his concert isn't the fizzle that Macy Gray was last weekend. I know ...WTF is Macy Gray... I really didn't know till some pubescent pals in the pub says she's the greatest since Manchester United used to be...

But let's not be distracted...Bali is waiting, with bated breath, for a big blow-job...

It probably wasn't Macy Gray anyway but Susi Pudjiastuti in a wig

Coulda been...I wouldn't know the difference but I just heard, in the last hour, that Finn's are offering a refund for those expensive tickets
