The PM Theresa May has decided to hold a general election on June 8. She is looking for a majority to push for Brexit plan without hindrance.

Good luck to her. I lost my right to vote years ago but I was proud of my fellow Brits (well, the English and Welsh anyway) for voting to leave the EU.
Immigration levels are frighteningly high with last year's net migration figure a record high of over 600,000.
Brexit won't help much either because most of the newcomers are from outside the EU and they're the ones least likely to integrate.
We need a points system like Australia's ASAP, so that only those with sought-after skills or ready to invest are allowed in. We've got enough wasters of our own without letting others in from all corners of the world.

No, the UK's net migration figure was not over 600.000, it's actually about half.
No, "most" newcomers are not from outside the EU, it's actually about equal.
Half of the EU immigrants to the UK are from the newer Eastern European countries.
The majority of non-EU immigrants to the UK are from either the USA or Commonwealth countries, shouldn't be much trouble to integrate if you did your colonial duties properly I reckon. Especially considering that almost half of those immigrants only go to the UK to study and the vast majority of the rest has jobs waiting for them or are the workers' dependents.
You already have a points visa system for non-EU immigrants in place.

You want to support Brexit go for it, but at least check your facts.

Perhaps the reason is several don't go home when their education is finished, in general the immigration is a good thing, but there should be a tightens up to deport those who don't want to work or don't get jobs

Fair enough, so why not count just those then? Since they'll have to apply for new and different visas, have to have company sponsorship etc, it's not an easy thing and numbers show that the majority of those who do stay have completed post-graduate studies which I would think to be an asset for the UK should they wish to stay.

Brighton was renown for English language schools, bit of a fiddle as people would apply to the school, get their student visa, then disappear, the schools never reported them as not attending, immigration eventually caught on and many schools shut down, a foreigner can apply for a job,a work permit or visa isn't asked for, I don't think we get many American, Australian, Canadian or New Zealand immigrants, the Aussie and Kiwis I met round Earls Court, came on working holidays with the correct visa, regarding Americans, I don't see a mad rush of immigrants there even with Trump as President,

That loophole (English language schools) was closed in 2012. There is no reliable data that estimates the number of illegal stayers, suggesting that this is negligible. The majority of immigrants has the correct visas, and once students are excluded from the numbers of net migration then percentage wise the number of immigrants into the UK is laughable especially when compared to many other countries.

Wether we like it or not, the world population is growing at an exponential rate. In 1950 we had about 2,5 billion people on our little planet, as of 3 days ago we have tripled that to 7.5 billion, and in 2060 the estimations are that this number will reach 10 billion. That is quadrupling the world population in 100 years to numbers never seen before. By keeping the same amount of space to live on, and making advancements in transportation methods beyond ones wildest dreams; it wouldn't surprise me that by that time all these silly boarders won't even exist anymore.

In 1950 I was 13 years old and 3 days ago was 5 weeks short of being 80 and I can assure everyone I had little to do with the above statistic...at least to my knowledge...but I persevere..

If WW3 kicks off the population figures for the future will require some adjustment, at 79 I'm sort of not unduly worried, but I do wonder how my grand kids will get on, with the increase of robotics it would appear a very high percentage won't have jobs, with global warming will there be enough food, if there isn't,the forecast figures can be reduced

Yes I am not quite as optimistic about human nature. We should also have robotic armies etc etc etc.. I don't imagine difficulties with borders, food and water will all be solved. Possibly Anglian for Mayor or House of Lords (hahaha).

When I graduated in 2010, there was a visa called the Fresh Graduated. In a nutshell, it was a two year visa that gave you a work permit without the need of a company sponsoring you. A few months before mine expired in 2012, I remember seeing something that after April 2012, the Fresh Graduated Visa was not going to be offered anymore. Not sure if it was just renamed or if they did away with it completely.

From what I remember with the visa application, it basically wanted your university information, a member of staff who would vouch for you, your level of English, addresses over a certain amount of time, are you a terrorist, have you lived in Northern Ireland, etc...

Unfortunitly, it seemed all of Scotland had no openings and if they did, you would have 300 people get interviewed for only 50 spots.

It's probable if you said NO to the above the application would be rejected. The Scots and Irish are more closely connected than the English are to either. In fact, it was the Irish that invented the bagpipes and gifted them to Scotland...and the haggis-bashers haven't got the joke yet...

The whole application was the size of a univ text book. Lucky me had someone from the university to help me walk through everything and correct any mistake I had made before sending it off.
