Worship in Bandung ended after pressure from "Groups of People"

So Jokowi had a chat with the police General Tito not to enforce MUI fatwas, no mention of him telling the General to clamp down on the FPI who illegally haze law abiding citizens

Anglian, I really like some of your thoughts and descriptions, are you a poet or something? ha ha ha.

Other than issuing silly fatwas which nobody bothers with, who or what are the MUI and how are the incumbents selected, they don't seem to me very worldly wise and really scratching about on subjects to raise fatwas for, and people take quite a delight in ignoring them

I've just been informed that I am invited to a Christmas celebration & dinner open to the public at the Salvation Army Orphanage in Denpasar, (they have a large chapel) the good thing about the Salvos is that they don't drag it out, the entire proceedings should last about two hours.

my family tell me they decide when Ramadan begins and ends, I'm impressed

I think we need a Santa parade through the streets where the FPI offices.

Any idea if there are plans in the works for a Santa Parade next year. Perhaps Habib Rizieq could be on one of the floats. He seemed to do a nice job, on the float, at the Ahok parade.
