Why so complicated to open bank account in Indonesia for foreigners

I rarely use cash this day, only if i need to go to small warung or freshmarket. The rest of the shopping places are cashless. I mean of course they will still accept cash, but why carry stinky notes inside your nice purse. Now day easily to use Debit, Cc , Ovo, Dana, Gopay, virtual account and all other FinTech, and even car park using online payment.

Good point regarding the stinky notes.... looks like I have to buy a new purse too.
