Interesting twitter link on the reasons for the weakening IDR, which has gone from around 14300, to 15500. That's almost at the crazy level of 16000 that happened for a while at the start of the pandemic. Glad I'm paid in dollars, because all the other major currencies seem to be weakening as much as the IDR if not more (GBP, EUR etc). It seems to be that the BI is not raising interest rates fast enough, in the opinion of the markets.

It's brilliant. I also get euro and $ I used to quote in euro because it's faster to transfer easier to carry and higher but now $ is more than € crazy.
15500+ earlier
Love it
But Boris will be back next week so I think $ will drop below € again for now

Luckily we keep most of of money in USD, so the last month has been a pretty good time to change. We got almost 15,600 today at GMC. I’m sure it won’t last.
