simple question,

I have approval for my VIYAs, and will go to Singapore to get it.

Apart from the email, what other documents are required, photos?

What is the current visa fee in the embassy in Singapore?

Has anyone used a good agent for the process in Singapore?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Jim69. I got a Sosbud Visa end of June 2016. We had difficulty contacting anyone from some of the agents suggested. We used Maju Travel Service. They are located right next to a hotel in a small mall. The address is: 60 Eu Tong Sen Street, #01-16 Furama City Centre, Singapore. Phone: (65) 6533 1666 Cell: (65) 9615 8622. Email: [email protected] They worked well for us. We stayed in Singapore a few days but for same day service, you need to arrive before a certain time daily. The price was $170 Singapore dollar.
My wife emailed him first and asked what documents/pictures were required. They provided this information.

I've been through this process 3 times in the past 2 years, twice in SG and recently in KL - its so simple you really don't need to use an agent. Recently they have really improved the service so that you drop everything off on day 1 and collect on day 2 (I've read online about this in SG and experienced it personally in KL in October last).
From memory the only things you need to bring along is the copy of the letter confirming your VITAS approval, 2 passport photos and scans of your passport (they can do all this onsite - just make sure you have some cash). You also need to fill in a simple form which they provide (and I think you can download from their website).

I used him a few years ago for my SosBud. I was apprehensive but the guy came through 100%. He had a large stack of passport in his office, maybe 50ish), so I asked him what was the largest amount of visas he processed in one day. The answer was something like 200....sheesh, the guy is making bank!

Anyway, if you absolutely need it done in one day, or don't want to worry about dealing with multiple trips to the embassy, the SGD 170 is worth it. Just figure out 1 extra day in Singapore probably costs more than that.

When it comes to agent in Singapore, I can recommend Mr Noor Mohamad (phone / WA +65 9732 4482, email [email protected] - he is older gentleman but very quick with WhatsApp reply).

Got my Pemberitahuan Persetujuan Visa (work visa approval notice) and off I flew to Singapore. Met Mr Noor at Hilton hotel lobby (he apparently holds that as his hq...) at 9 (his deadline for same day delivery is 11 the latest) and gave him my passport with Singapore entry card, 1 x photo, signed the application and handed over 300 SGD (160 SGD for embassy, 140 SGD for agent). Around 16:00 the same day he called and I picked up the passport with visa (and official receipt of 300 SGD for my company) at Hilton lobby. Agent was booked by my company, but couldn't make it any better myself.

Couldn't really ask for better service; if I went there myself, I had to stay overnight at S-pore (not that terrible idea, but nowadays that city is so goddamn expensive...): leave documents to embassy in morning 9:00 - 12:00 and pick up the next day 15:00 - 17:00.

I already send message to Mr. Noor and he reply it quickly, but I am still scare to trust him because I have to transfer the money first through western union now I am still thinking really hard...hmmmm..

Never ever transfer any money
You do not need to do that AT ALL

My agent (and most others) you just pay cash when you meet in the hotel that morning

I dont quite know whats going on with that, you dont need to transfer anything

only email the telex copy and passport copy to the agent in SG a day or 2 before

Then meet agent in SG as above, can come back same day even for KITAS etc

Use my agent, he is also cheaper
