I'm using immigration's E-Visa site to apply for an Unlimited Exit-Re-Entry Visa but had two rejections so far. On both occasions I've received a response from immigration telling me that I have to upload a single PDF file no larger than 2Mb containing images of all my supporting documents (KTP, KK, sponsor letter etc) but I've already done that on both occasions. I'm away as well so can't pop in to their office and ask.

Has anybody experienced a similar issue or can anyone recommend a solution?

Thanks

Just get a 60 day one which is instantly approved and sort it out next time.

The site is easy to use more likely you missing something. TBH sometimes you need to scroll down or sideways but IME it always tells you exactly what is missing or needed.

You can click on your specific application number and it will tell you.

  • You need to do exactly what they ask in the message, perhaps one item is missing.
  • The PDF should be uploaded in the correct field.
  • Don't click too fast after uploading, it takes some time!!!

We have written about this before. Find the posts concerned.

D1 ?

You still have to exit the country every 60 days

B1 is also 60 days. A new B1 is 500rb and granted immediately on a plane ticket and passport copy and photo alone. No need sponsor or banks.

Example 60 days fly to SG. Once past immigration sitting at the gate get on evisa site and apply for your new visa back in 4 hours. Instantly approved. Go to SG. Don't forget evisa in advance. Walk through the e-gate.

Upstairs. Check in. E-gate departure. Fly. Land. Don't forget to do your customs thing. E-gate arrival. Customs. Grab. Pulang. 2 weeks later apply to extend 30 days. Pay 500. Instantly approved. Then within 3 days go to immigration office for a photo and no I'm not working Sir speech. That takes 26 seconds as it's always completely deserted. They ask where you living also

Finish. Repeat ad nauseum.

Tip. Count out 60 days. Book your ticket now for day 58 or 59 so you can get it cheaper. Example work out 60 days Inc and buy ticket for July or whenever now. 500rb only. Roughly.

PRO tip
Life hack. Lol
SG flights always mahal

Fly to KL on Citi or Trans. Very cheap and every flight is on time.
Batik and AA and Lion always delayed these days

Fly back with Malaysian. You can even get J class for 3jt which includes lounge access and alcohol. Be cheap and make sure your flight is hours later and spend all day in the lounge free booze and WiFi etc plus hot meal and wine on the flight and big flat seat too. Depend on your budget. Make it a day out

Trans at 7a.m
MH back at 7pm.
Cost less than 4jt total. Or just Y class return.

Some Y class Lion Batik AA etc 2jt back from SG. Extra 1jt for J and the lounge seems worth it

Why do you react if you have no idea what it is about?

Because I want to make sure he is doing it right. Thanks for the useful input though. Your helpful advice is appreciated as always Sir

In an ITAS to ITAP case I had 1 "rejection" , but not because there was a problem with the single PDF file .
... I have to upload a single PDF file no larger than 2Mb containing images of all my supporting documents (KTP, KK, sponsor letter etc) but I've already done that on both occasions.
It would be helpful if you show here a copy of the all messages that Immigration sent to you .
I'm away as well so can't pop in to their office and ask ...
After some number of "rejections" (maybe 3) your local Kantor Imigrasi may ask you to go there in order to solve the pending situation .

Just now , I suggest you to search in the internet for the Whatsapp/WA number of your Kantor Imigrasi (I think it is now common that each local Immigration has a general WA number plus few others for specific sectors . Through this ('Izin Tinggal' in your case) WA number you can get copy of the sample letters (for example) , and answers for your questions (probably only written messages) .
