They are an independent group that has been given access to classified information pertaining to people's SS numbers, Medicaid, Medicare, Bank accounts, and information about Government employee's that should not be in their possession. They have access even to the Treasury department!

Yes they redacted much of what she said, but they did broadcast enough of what she said to get the point across. It is a mess over there. Israel bombs, Iran, Iran bombs Israel, Israel bombs Gaza, Hezbollah bombs Israel. None of them are any better than the other.
Israel must stop bombing Gaza, and come up with a two state solution. It is only fair, the Palestinians have equal rights. This will never be resolved until the Palestinians have a clear home without Israeli settlements, and all nations such as the US, EU, and others, provide equal assistance to both Palestine, and Israel.
Number 1 is STOP providing bombs to anyone over there!!!
Peace and Love is still the best solution!

Cutting expenses. That is what you call eliminating entire government agencies and firing thousands of employees for doing the jobs they were assigned as a method of retaliation.

As for education. You do know how asinine you sound with your insights. The dept of Education spends a lot of money for each state. They help educate teachers. The money's spent have nothing to do with State's politics. What does have to do with the states is what is taught and how it is taught. The states set the school hours and days. The state dept of education sets the requirements for teachers and shells out the federal funds. Basically, education is in the hands of the states already. Where does that today leave education? It leaves it with red states having the lowest scores and blue states having the highest. Trump stated during the campaign he was for minimal education. Now he can get it. Trump dumbing down in the American students for what, to make them more like the lunitic he is? Maybe he just wants them to be more like the Russians he loves so much.

One thing for certain, the courts are going to be really busy and maybe he can learn the president or his overseer musk don't get to control the YS purse strings according to the Constitution.

So, they shortened it. What's the big deal now? Why pick on a news network. Just look at what gets put on Trumps, Truth Social. A bunch of Malarkey! She said they were helping them. Yea, helping them with millions of dollars, and lots of pretty little bombs! Every time Trump speaks he is lying, or bending the truth, to suit his desire's. Now he wants Billions for an interview getting shortened! Remember his line, they're eating the dogs, and cats, they're eating the Pets?
He said this at a Presidential debate, where he couldn't even look her in the face once!

I just read it again and I don't see what you're in a huff about. She described the terrible event on Oct. 7th. She said Israel had the right to defend itself, she also said the too many Palestinians have been killed! Trump would never admit that! So I wouldn't have to decide if Trump did this because he wouldn't.

I just read though the whole transcript and it is full of word salad. I honestly don't know how you could read that and not see it. If it was anyone else, it would be clear to you. It appears that anything a democrat does is OK in your opinion but if a republican does it, it's deceiving and a lie. Probably nothing I can say that would change your mind. I think both parties are full of it but I will also judge fairly, give credit where credit is due and call out bad behavior.

It appears that anything a democrat does is OK in your opinion but if a republican does it, it's deceiving and a lie.

As someone who has spent the majority of life as a Republican I'm afraid that today's politics force me to think that if it is the Republican Administration or Legislators saying it the chances of untruth or terrible spin are definitely in play. They all bow down to one (who is a bully) and we all know that is no way a democracy is successful.

As for the democrats, still spineless, still unable or unwilling to follow through on their concerns beyond complaining. They like to get on TV acting all outraged and threatening but then go back to their comfy offices and hope no one gets mad at them.

Neither party really has nothing to be proud of unless they are proud of allowing the current administration the ability to dismantle the US in the name of managing it and watching an unelected person decide who gets what and who stays and goes. Proud to let one unelected individual take over their responsibilities so come the next election they can say, it wasn't me.

I'm afraid that if things could ever be righted it has to be in the hands of the people if it doesn't get so bad that it becomes unfixable.

I get what you saying but I don't save a single link. If I remember hearing something, a quick Google search is all that's needed. In today's world of disinformation it is becoming more and more important to keep from even accidentally spreading misinformation, especially when something is inflammatory. I remember in the COVID days basically being called a liar unless I produced the evidence otherwise. I guess that has stuck with me.

Here are some of the things that have been listed as part of USaid (according to the Whitehouse)

$20 million for a "new Sesame Street show in Iraq" to $1.5 million and $5.5 million to promote LGBTQ+ advocacy in Jamaica and Uganda. $6 million for tourists in Egypt, more than $19 million to promote "inclusion" in Vietnam and $5 million to EcoHealthAlliance, described as "one of the key NGOs funding bat virus research at the Wuhan lab." $1.5 million to advance DEI in Serbia workplaces, $70,000 for a "DEI musical" in Ireland and $32,000 for a "transgender comic book in Peru."

To me this is not only a waste of tax payer money but is a US government trying to force their values and views on other countries. Yes they also did some good work but there is a lot wrong with it too. Also again, the US ilhas by far the biggest debt in the world. Why is it the US tax payers responsibility to fix world issues? Why not China, Saudi, or Norway?

Of course, I agree that wasteful spending is Wrong! I think this can be said for many departments. But, I still think we have to keep an eye on Trump and Musk, and people that want to use this money to get richer. I heard The last time he was President, His so called tax breaks went to the rich, and not the lower classes
Many of those things you mentioned sound suspicious to me. I don't believe that they would spend $32,000 on a comic book. Or $20,000,000 on Sesame street. If you can prove these facts, then please share the proof, and I would be more than happy, as many others would, to put a stop to this kind of wasteful spending.

DEI is wrong because the most capable person can not get the job if they not the right color. So a long list of candidates will be ignored because of their color. That sounds right? I personally lost a promotion to Affirmative Action and the person they chose over me had to be fired in less than a year because the couldn't do the job. Imagine how much it is costing companies in lost time just to make up for a bad decision based on equity alone. Would you like your heart surgeon to be the equity choice or you would you prefer the have the better qualified? DEI and equity hires have no doubt caused loss of life in one way or another but at least the staff looks good on an equity page.

I think we all need to be Careful of the current administration using tactics to confuse everyone to keep us divided, and confused, and turning against each other, to hide the Truth that they are try to bamboozle us from seeing the real truth of them pushing they're White Nationalist Agenda!
