I had 1 issue once with lippo mall kemang security not letting me in becuase the app won't let me register despite being vaccinated. My secret? just go through the basement entrance, no security waiting at that entrance. But seriously, the app is a joke and not one person I know has been able to register and most have been fully vaccinated. Don't get me started on the kids under 12 not allowed in the malls and restaurants...

Why not just screenshot the 2 dose QR code instead of going through the trouble?
Depends on the malls...so far the three I've visited (MOI, Artha Gading and MKG) all asked to see the 'check in berhasil' from my phone. Smaller malls like Sunter Mall were a bit more relaxed a few weeks ago, but not sure about now. Second choice is to go to a 'non-chain' supermarkets like Total or All Fresh, at most they'll ask you to wash your hands and casually shoot your forearm with a thermo gun.

Same. Everyone i know has registered. Occasional logon problems but quickly solved. Im actually impressed with the system and think it is far more advanced than the rubbish paper cards in USA. Honestly i though it would be worse coming from Indonesian government (remember how many years it took for the auto immigration gates at the airport to work for example).

Weirdest "high end" mall ever. It's like great you guys have such-and-such store but the stock freakin' sucks.
Ehac was hacked not PL. The bit about the presidents info was because all of his information was posted early. They didnt hack it - they just had to enter his details only.

Ok, fair enough. No need to hack something that just lets anyone access it. I guess I should have said that it's a fine program as long as you don't mind that your information is capable of being accessed without any security checks and the information contained in the app could used for nefarious purposes.

How about checking in at all the malls and shops as someone else for starters. Using others vaccination records and having access to their certificates that shows when and where they were vaccinated. Using the other information found in the unencrypted database for an attempt at identity theft. Maybe none of these issues worry you but I feel that we should expect at least some security for a database that holds so much information and is basically required to live a fairly normal life at this time.
