Renew Family Kitas after 5 years

Its all very interesting, but my problem is that I have both copy, letter of no impediment from my ambassy and italian marriage certificate, but not in color copy scan as Immigation ask, only B/N copy.
I will try to send that copies and wait the answer.
Someone told me also that, even the copy are color, I must attach a translation of the text in bahasa!!!

Yes, sorry for all that, @marsel . Yep, try the copies first. A translation only makes sense if it is done by a certified translator. The consulate will have a list which ones those are for Italian.

Unfortunelly I have another issue!!!
This morning Ive been to Immigration Nusa Dua Bali to get the documents list to apply for family kitas after I will get the telex from Jakarta to go abroad to get a VITAS, and they sayd that the Immigration in Jakarta will not release any approval telex until my family KITAS is still valid (expire at april, 10th) and I must apply for EPO, that cancel my actual Kitas, go out of Indonesia and come back maximum in one week to get a tourist visa, at that point I can get the longed-for telex!!!
And just to make it more exciting, to apply to EPO I must provide the ticket of the fly out!!!
Aduuuuhhh!!!

Hello Marsel! I am exactly on the same situation than you, living in Bali and my family KITAS will expired on 11 April. In my case, as you I don't want to apply yet for KITAP.
I am not familiar with the telex and the VITAS, in fact I was about to ask on the forum about the differences between both process the VITAS and the KITAS, but from what are you saying it seems like on the telex and Vitas process you have to go out of Indonesia twice isn'it?
Beside you are saying you have to be out of Indonesia minimum for a week and enter Indonesia on a tourist visa, get the telex and have to go out again?
In that case would not be easier go out, enter on social visa and converter the social visa to KITAS?
I have deal before with Indonesian Embassy in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur and in my case, I feel like I would like to know another different place this time, I cannot remember but I think the last time when I was in KL for the social visa I was there two nights, if I can avoid KL is not really a place I would like to come back, in Singapore I think it was the same minimum two nights (I did it myself).
I check prices to fly to Darwin and Perth from Denpasar and it is so cheap, but I wonder how is the process there dealing with the Indonesian Embassy, I suppose it should be the same than in another countries, oh wait, I just realize in Perth and Darwin there is not really embassies but consulate, can the consulate issue a social visa for Indonesia?
I was even thinking about Timor or HK.

I apologize for my lack of using google, I was so spontaneous in my previous post, I am right now on the website of the Consulate of Indonesia in Perth, and I got all the information and I see the minimun need to get the social visa is 5 days. I will check now Darwin and HK and Timor. I was scare they will ask for a insurance.

its maximum in 1 week, not minmum.
Anyway, I asked suggest to two different agency and both said that the procudere indicated to me at the immigration bali was wrong, no need to fly abroad twice.
Here is the the correct procedure:
1) apply for telex with head office of immigration in Jakarta
2) apply for EPO with immigration office in Bali (in my case Nusa Dua)
3) fly abroad to get the VITAS on the passport in a indonesian ambassy
4) apply to convert VITAS in KITAS with immigaration office in Bali
5) raise a glass of italian red wine to the sky

Sorry for my wrong understanding.
So what are the differences to do it trough a telex-VITAS or enter with a social visa?
Will be faster or cheaper to get the VITAS on the passport than to get the social visa?
Is the process from VITAS to KITAS easier or cheaper than the process Social Budaya to KITAS?
How easy is to apply for the telex in Jakarta?
How many days before you have to go out of Indonesia you apply for the telex? did they send the telex to the Embassy you choose or to you before you leave to go abroad?
Sorry if these are too many questions, I am still confuse about the two processes and which one could be more convenient.

The social visa route is somewhat cheaper (@macvert mentioned a difference of $100). For the rest there is not that much difference.

Easy for the trip but perhaps also a bit stressful with the social visa method, is the (limited) time in Indonesia. With a VITAS you're somewhat stuck with a KBRI and the method makes more sense for people who come here to work and thus reside abroad or are further away from an immigration office in RI.

The telex can normally be picked up two days after you report to the embassy you selected abroad but there are differences depending on KBRI.

thanks a lot jstar, doing trough the social visa method don't you have plenty time? you can do it right after you enter Indonesia with the social visa and has less than six months ahead right? sorry I don't get it why do you mention the limited time.
By the way, there is very clear and amazing information on this forum on the articles, I just read the one for the apply the VITAS on line 2019, reading that it seems is quite easy forward.

Both processes are straight forward though. A social visa sponsored by the spouse is valid for 60 days. Normally that should be more than enough but you have to think about public holidays etc. as well. (Lebaran for instance, can be a disaster.) And it would suck to have to extend the visa in your application process.

Well Saudade, if as u said before u have a family KITAS already renewed for 5 years, I think that the more convenient and easier way is the procedure that Im following (telex, EPO, VITAS, family KITAS).
U said that ur actual family visa will expire at april 11th, so u have the time to complete the process starting now, even considering Nyepy.
I suggest to collect all the documents required from immigration to apply for the new family KITAS, while ur waiting foe the telex.

Marsel, I am curious if you have already apply for the telex and how long it took to get it. How long the telex is valid for?
In theory according what I read in two or three days it is possible already to get the Telex, if I have to go outside of Indonesia on 11 th April, is not too early to start to apply it?
I was about to choose to do the social budaya process, but I read this morning on the forum in another post that there is not choice any more, if you want to apply for a Kitas keluarga must be trough the Telex and Vitas process.
How many days before to travel it should be convenient to apply for the EPO?
I guess to get the Vitas, is the same in all the embassies or consulat outside of Indonesia isn't it? If finally I decide to go to Perth I should check with the consulat there if it is possible to get the Vitas from the consulat.
