A demonstration is scheduled by the usual bozos tomorrow, Tuesday 21 Feb 2017, in front of the DPR.

It's supposed to start at 7am. Traffic jam expected. Avoid the area if possible.

one might say the usual SUSPECTS :D

Most of these bozos don't have enough brains to be half wits,

FFS when is this going to stop???? One demo is enough. Police need to crack down hard on them if they keep having these silly demos. Why can't they just grow up, get jobs and get married and have a family like everyone else.

Hahaha, ya it would be nice if they would get a job or something. It isn't going to stop. They have a strong belief they are right and everyone else is wrong. They are constantly looking to grow, to strengthen. They are the one true way. Radicalism is growing in Indonesia there are a couple of competing views about state ideology.

Then that would mean they would have to take personal responisbility and that is not allowed. :suspicious:

So multiple parts of the city are flooded and these a*holes are still conducting their demo. No decency whatsoever. Maybe they could help with the rescue efforts or at the very least cancel/reschedule their demo so that the police/army use the manpower in the flood rescue and mitigation instead of coral in these brain dead bodies.

I guess we should be thankful that Indonesia is tolerant of peaceful demonstrations even if the content clashes with our own beliefs- a step towards freedom of speech perhaps.

It would be interesting to know how many actually reside in Jakarta, if the actually vote and do they have proper employment, most seem to be there for a jolly

A very good point...that's why it has nothing to do with a stupid blaspheme law..and all to do with changing gov't from secular (Pancasila) to sharia (Islam) without giving everyone the vote.... just like what is being attempted in Malaysia.

They are reporting hundred showed up. Not worth getting wet over. Nasi get soggy just like their convictions.

Or maybe some peeps is showing up because Big Boss is here to negotiate extension of KK ?....

FUnny,
even NU and Muhammadiyah/FPI even suggested their people not to join the rally due to some "political agenda" behind it

A pile of them were scattered in front of the Constitution building - waving flags and already making noise around 07:30 this morning. Funny thing was that traffic kept moving evenly at around 40km/h on the tol - seemed like not a single car bothered to slow down and stare. Protest fatigue?

Thats very true, but at some point you cant keep causing traffic jams and all that every week forever.

Its one thing to have a demo or three, its another to have your weekly meetups on public sidewalks and roads.

Is Imam Shamsi Ali spreading fake news or he himself is misinformed? Franklin Graham did NOT ask to pray for Ahok’s election victory as Jakarta Governor but to pray for Ahok’s blasphemy trials. That’s a BIG difference IMHO.

Note: I am posting this here because I cannot find a more appropriate thread regarding Ahok’s Blasphemy Trials and the Jakarta Governor Election.
